Horrible car rental raggedy rental given the lady at the counter charged me 200$ for every insurance on the car that I don’t even need because I have insurance and AAA roadside lady at the front desk said I’ll sign it on my side and little did I know she’s signing for 200$ of add on charges the rental itself is 200$ who’s gonna pay another 200$ just in insurance crazy scammers with Avis I will stick with Payless they were very upfront and honest and no overcharges and the rental was much nicer and the agent was wonderful at Avis the agent was horrible mean and a scammer I called customer service manager for Avis and they said they admit to the wrong but will only reimburse me 30% of all the extra insurance charges she added

Make sure you capture the gas receipt and gas level when returning the car. I was charged for gas even when I made sure to fill up the tank and return.Edit: Thank you for your quick reply Avis. I contacted Avis via phone and they refunded me the gas charge after me providing them my credit card transaction details.

I have rented from this location a few times. Always ok, not bad but not great. The cars I have rented were all ok, no issues. The service was ok, again not bad but not great. A solid 4 stars for being exactly what you are, a lower priced rental car company.

Wide range of available vehicles at the very last min because Enterprise failed me. Reasonable pricing, almost made me forget we’re in a Great Depression. Lady behind the counter was fantastic! Very detailed, professional, knowledgeable & friendly. I didn’t come across one single employee that looked like they hated their job.

Customer service here is bad and rude, especially some Asian guy at the front desk. He does not seem to care much in helping us and tried to charge extra just bc we arrived 25min earlier than reservation pick up time. We had to walk outside to call the main Avis/Budget hotline for further assistance, and while outside we overheard another lady walking out mumbling how rude the same csrv guy was. They really need to retrain their customer service reps here if they don't want to loose customers.Update: Been and still waiting for 30min+ now and they just now confirm the car is being cleaned up. So, they'd charge extra for checking in early, and yet, doesn't care about getting the car ready on time as reserved. Horrible. Changing to 1 star review.

Stay away from these scam artists! Rented many of cars in several counties over the years no big deal. My husband, children and I rented from Avis at Ontario CA Airport we were in the California desert for my father in laws memorial they live rurally. Southern Cali got an unexpected amount of rainfall and they live on a dirt road. These scam artists charged us $450 for a car wash as there was some mud on the tires and inside fenders of the SUV we rented. Never again Buget/ Avis! Very disappointed in these tough times.

I normally don't rent from Avis anymore because their cars are always dirty and worn out. This week's rental had 50K miles on it and it was raining when I picked it up and the front windshield was so dirty on the inside I had a hard time seeing with the film on it. I've had bad luck with Avis on the last few rentals and therefore do business elsewhere when available.

We received a car with out of date tags. The car was beat up and not great at all. Paid top dollar for a nice car and would rate this a 1 out of ten on the lot.

Great service and selection , just give yourself time for rental shuttle drop off to terminal , takes awhile , not Avis but airport shuttle

I returned the car five hours after I rented it just as I promised. I met someone when returning it at 3:58 PM on February 20 and they scanned the car and said it was already checked in. The amount for my rental that I paid at pick up time was a little over $80 but I just got an email that said that I checked the car in late (February 21 at 6:37 PM) and they charge me an extra day and late fees totaling to more than $169. This is obviously a mistake on when they check the car in because I left the rental car site and boarded a Frontier flight 2 hours later and was home in Texas by 8 PM Pacific Time on February 20. I was home almost 24 hours when they finally checked the car in!!

The online process was easy and the check-out counter experience was excellent. The check-out staff, Andrea, was very efficient and friendly, there was staff in the parking lot who stopped by while we were checking out the condition of the vehicle and ask if we had any questions, and the lot attendant at the exit booth was also very friendly. The return process could not have been quicker or easier...Thank you.

The process of getting my car at the counter in the Ontario, CA airport was very simple. The person that helped me was very efficient. Once I was checked out, the lot attendant was very helpful in directing me to my car. The same lot attendant assisted me when I returned the car and he chased me down all the way to my shuttle thinking I'd left something in the car (unfortunately the left behind item was not mine, but I appreciated the thoughtfulness!) I will definitely use Avis on my next trip to Ontario.
