“This review is specifically for the lady at the front in the morning. She was just so freaking nice and cordial and friendly. One of those people who just really enjoys helping people in big ways and small and interacting with her was a total pleasure. She just exuded a glowing, positive aura. Great way to start the day. Wish I caught her name just so I could mention her here by name. Solid employee. Solid person. Take care of her. She's just plain awesome ? ?”

“More expensive than the grocery store, but prices aren’t too expensive for the convenience. They have a huge variety of unique “healthier”/organic products you wouldn’t find at somewhere such as 7/11. Rather than the store being filled with mostly snack, there is a large portion of shelves stocked with typical items from the market such as pasta, pancake/cookie/cake mixes, and products you would use in a home cooked meal. No produce though but there is freshly baked bread.”

“Before they remodeled, I think it was better when they were the old way, but they have a bigger variety of made food from their daily. They did not have pizza like they have now.”

“Had the amazing chance to meet Tina working here the other day when she helped me check the tire pressure on my motorcycle. I had asked at another business in town for some help and was rudely turned away…Tina seriously made my day when she was able to find a small tire pressure pen they had under the desk…sometimes it really is the small things! I’ll be back here every time I visit town after this!”

“I was in this store last month, there seemed to be only one employee actually working, she seemed a little overwhelmed, because the store was incredibly busy. She definitely handled it well. She was very pleasant and helpful. Her name was Rachel, which I remember, because it’s my daughter’s name. She deserves a raise in my opinion, she was amazing, dealing with all the customers she was dealing with. But she dealt with each one in a positive friendly way. I personally think there should have been more staff, I’m not positive there wasn’t, but she was the only one dealing with customers.”

“I recently went on a road trip and stopped at this location. I would just want to point out how super clean and well organized this place is kept. And of course, you must grab some of their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies with their amazing coffee! This place will be my regular pit stop from now on.”

“Had a flat from a pothole on a snow storm day. They were closed on Sunday, but first thing Monday I went in to see if they can get a new tire on. At first they said they didn't have the size for my car so then I started calling other places to find somewhere that has it. Right as I was pulling out of the chevron to get on my way, the guy ran up to my car and told me to wait a second while they double and triple check. They ended having it and were able to put it in under 30 mins so we were on our way! Appreciate their help after a stressful weekend.”

“My husband and I stopped in to purchase some items and ended up finding everything we needed, including scissors to open one of the said items lol! I would HIGHLY recommend this nice location, located in Tahoe City! They deserve more stars!! The staff member helping us was very personable and the store was well organized and stocked! “I had a very positive experience yesterday at the Truckee CVS. I forgot to bring an important medication with me on a 4 night trip to Truckee, and I have Kaiser, so i needed to connect CVS with them to get the prescription transferred. I was nervous that I could only leave a voicemail message, but 2 hours after I left the message I got a text that my scrip was ready for pick-up, and I waited less than 5 minutes to collect it from the store. The young person who helped me was very polite and efficient. By the way, if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, call the Kaiser Advice Nurse and ask for the direct phone number that an external pharmacy can use to reach them. That's the most efficient way to manage it, according to Kaiser.”

“I cannot speak to fuel at all from here, but what I can say is that I often stop in for a snack or cup of coffee and just WOW! If you are in a pinch for something convenient to make (like a little grocery store), this is a perfect spot to grab it on the go. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. Now for the coffee. I cannot say enough about it. They have a machine that will grind and brew you a fresh cup of coffee, and the coffee beans are good! I will go out of my way for this coffee often, it's that good. You can pick your size, leave room for cream or whatever else you want, and with the coffee places around town being spotty as to when or if they will be open, this is a fantastic alternative for us! “I just have to say--the staff are exceptionally friendly and kind and gave my dog Cookie monster treats when she came in ?They also have a variety of items that you could use on a road trip or going to the lake, a nice little pharmacy there.It's located in the Safeway shopping center. There's a subway sandwich store next to it and a few other shops around the bend.I can't say it enough their staff members are outstanding with service and friendliness...”

“So when I'm working up in Truckee, I always have my morning coffee. As the day goes by, the coffee gets cold and I usually stop in the 7-Eleven or the other one just to use the microwave. I am always greeted warmly, the workers understand I'm not there to spend money but just to keep my coffee in the microwave. A allow this happily. Such a good service for not actually spending any money there.I'm having so many kids, I really don't like the prices of convenient stores... But that is what they are convenient. Easier to stop by a 7-Eleven then have to go inside a grocery store. Other than that I've been enjoying 7-Elevens since I was a kid and completely enamored with the big gulp, the super big gulp, the super super giant big gulp lol.”
