“I’m not sure how I didn’t know this cool shop existed behind the Ojai Arcade and I so happy I discovered it today!I love the huge variety of clothes and jewelry! The lovely women that I met today feel like dear friends. They are absolutely delightful and help me pick out a darling dress.This shop is full of Sustainable, Ethical clothing wear And accessories and women and men made by artisans in India. They also have home goods made in India and Nepal.I’m inspired by how committed they are to sustainability and ethical business practices.I will be back to buy more and visit my new friends!From their website and Instagram:Mud Lotus creates women's wear by working with artisans using traditional weaving, dying and traditional textile printing methods. We promote ethical business practices, sustainability, upcycling, and seek to change the way we view our shopping experience and the business model in the world. Every year millions of pounds of synthetic clothing are thrown away. They end up in landfills or burned as trash. Our clothes are made of organic cotton, linen, bamboo rayon, hand block-printed fabrics and natural indigo dyes. Jewelry and other crafts are hand made and often one of a kind.”

“I love their boho selection of blouses and dresses. So what they're made in china and india and are world market-ish.. the selection and sizes are better. It's so jammed with merchandise which spills out onto the sidewalk (when they are open). I love this place for a fashion eye candy feast and a maybe once a year purchase for a $185 dress but it lifts my spirits and helps a small business.”

“I am new to the area and was looking for a place to get my lashes and brows tinted. I decided to try New Leaf and I am so happy I did. This is by far the best brow/lash tint I have ever had done. They look natural and the color is perfect. The atmosphere is so relaxing, next time I am going to try a facial too. I highly recommend going here.”
