The local Rite aid is one of the best managed chain drug stores I’ve been to. The staff is friendly and helpful, the store is clean and usually well stocked.

We were out of town in CA when we had to g it Ave prescription called in to Right Aid Pharmacy in Ojai, CA. The experience getting the prescription was worst ever. We had to come in 4 times to get the prescription filled - and called several times too. Everything happened : their computer system went down, they were short staffed so that the prescription was not filled for 6! Hours, long story short - it took us ALL DAY to get the prescription filled. Right Aid has to seriously look into efficiency if their operations. The employees of the pharmacy itself are not the ones to blame, but the overall corporate quality of operations.they definitely list my business. For people in town and for eve employees, I hope this gets to be resolved soon

Smaller than other locations, with that the variety is less as well. But the employees are always very nice. Like the self checkout they installed, just wish they would have positioned them a bit better, either at the end or in the beginning so they would be be easier to access and not in between the regular registers.

Pharmacy staff was not only rude they refused to run my secondary insurance . The staff is lazy and clearly didn’t want to do there job. I would love to discuss the details with the owner.

Should have an option to add negative stars. Single most incompetent pharmacy I've ever experienced. If this location can't fix the issues maybe just pull the pharmacy? You have locals like myself counting on the usual consistency of Rite Aid Pharmacy and this location continues to fall BEYOND short. What an absolute shame to polite the Rite Aid name. Get your *hit together!!! With ZERO sincerity, from an extremely pissed off mother.

I'd like to recognize the pharmacy staff who helped me grab a prescription just after closing time on 4/23/22. Our physician called in the scrip for our 3 year old and told us to "wait 45 minutes". Little did I know that the pharmacy closed early on the weekend.. Typically, I visit on weekdays, so I didn't think anything of it. It would have been easy to turn me away but the gentleman, who was clearly at the end of his shift, helped me anyway. It was a simple act of kindness and it was greatly appreciated. You never know what people are going through.

I Would Love To Give This Rite Aid A Five Star.... The Only Reason I'm Not Is Because Of A Manager Named "Matt" I Got Excitement Customer Service From Two Ladies That We're Up In The Front That Directed Me Where To Find The Things I Needed. Didn't Get Their Names They We're Working Thursday (1/13) Around 1/2PM. The Reason I Felt Uncomfortable Was Because Of Matt. As I Entered The Store I Walked Straight To The Cough Medicine Aisle, There I Could Hear Him Cussing Loud, Talking Down On The Other Workers And Simply Showing Absolutely No Proper Work Etiquette. I Tried Brushing It Off As I Didn't Want To Ask For A Manager To Complaint About Him. A Few Minutes Earlier I Then Walked To The Cleaning Supply Aisle And There He Was On The Same Aisle Talking To A Customer And To This Customer He Kept On Talking Down On The Other Workers Then He Said That He Was The Only Good Manager At The Location And That The Place Would Be "Sh*t" Without Him???! If He's Like This I Can't Imagine What The Other Managers Are Like. Who Let This Man Become A Manager? I Was Absolutely Disgusted By Him That I Just Dropped My Things And Left. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Will Never Be In There While He's There. Reminded Me A lot Of The Grouchy Old Lady That Used To Work There.

It pains me to write this because for the past 6 years I have had a fantastic experience with the pharmacy at this Rite Aid. Every employee has been friendly and helpful, always. Unfortunately, there is a new male pharmacist working here now. He "wears" surgical masks that do not fit securely on his nose so the top of it is at his upper lip 99% of the time. The other 1 % of the time he is fiddling with it and pulling it up. This is a disaster because he is the main pharmacist at the biggest pharmacy in Ojai. He comes into contact with more sick people than anyone in town...and we are still in a raging pandemic. There is literally no excuse, and I mean no excuse, for any of us, let alone a PHARMACIST, to have not found masks that fit securely covering our noses and mouths fully two years into this pandemic. Is someone at Rite Aid sees this review and if I notice improved mask wearing by this pharmacist, I will update this review. If not, assume no news is good news. Do better, Rite Aid pharmacist. Much better.

All the new young girls in there are just rude or don't say anything to you. Your the one trying to say hi or how's your day when in real customer service it should be the other way around. Please give them more training or hire people that know customer service like the gentleman that work there. All of them are so nice and friendly.

GRUMPY LADY NEEDS TO GO!!! ASAP!!!! I've heard from multiple employees and regular customers that she isn't FRIENDLY or POLITE. what has this world come to nowadays?? can we go back to the old days when everybody was kind to one another and helpful, not GRUMPY, IMPOLITE AND RUDE??? Definitely a bad look for Rite Aid. such a SHAME. used to love coming here when she wasn't around, now I dread even looking in the direction of this establishment now that she has left her distasteful attitude on the store's reputation. I hate to say it but my visitations to the store will be on hold until action is taken!!!

Came in to get ice cream the other day. I came across an old pal of mine- and proceeded to have a conversation with him. After checking out, I found out that the older lady at the front desk who helped me, yelled at the friend who I was having a conversation with. She always seems to have an attitude towards everyone who comes in. She can go kick rocks for all I care! Unfriendly!!!!
