Looks like store has been there for many years. Reminds me of an old feed store, which is sweet. Employees were very helpful and our pup loved walking around the store.

205 N Signal St, OjaiThe coffee is so good in Ojai! I loved my caramel latte and my wife got a vanilla latte — both with oat milk. Service was sharp and friendly with plenty of gratitude for our patronage. We also tried their vanilla blueberry gluten-free scone and pumpkin loaf. They were both delicious! We sat outdoor at the tile-lined tables with iron wrought chairs and parasols—perfect for children and dogs. Inside they also operated as a bookstore and you ordered at a counter. This place is new to us and we’ll be coming back in the future.

Yume Japanese Burger Cafe

I was having a chat with the server/cashier and she mentioned that it was so hard for businesses to stay around because this area of Ojai is touristy and a bit hidden. We went here after a trip to Lake Casitas for their water park. I ordered the classic wagyu burger which was delicious! The fries were very well done and between the kids and i, those were quickly gobbled up. My son also wanted the wagyu beef bowl which was also really good. We ended up with too much food and I promptly ate that later on in the evening. I got the passion fruit iced tea which at 25% sweet was still sweet and felt like it was a little light on the passion fruit flavor. My daughter got the matcha green tea latte at 25% sweet as well, but discovered that it wasn't sweet enough and the servers were kind enough to add in a little more syrup for her. There's some really cool old school Japanese anime artwork on the walls in the back, and then a cute little courtyard beyond that. All in all, we would totally go back if in the area again, for the food, and definitely for that Studio Ghibli bathroom.

I wish the service was more full service. I don't mind placing the order myself but, after bringing your food out, you were on your own for napkins, utensils, extra plates, etc. We ended up having to get up multiple times during the meal. It was also unclear if we were supposed to clear our own table. So, I would definitely return, very nice environment and good food, just would have preferred a more full service option.

Coleslaw was amazing. My husband ordered the Tuna sandwich which looked really lovely. Would definitely go back foe the ambience alone. It's a special outdoor dining space. Well worth the visit.

Creamy feeling because of the nitro, and just delicious tasting notes. I should have gotten some to bring home. My partner had a white ale that he enjoyed. Cool space with AC inside and a shaded outside area facing the street.

Truthfully didn’t even know existed until we found and adopted a terrier that’s smart, handsome, a little mischievous… basically, the kind of dog who could star in his own indie film.
(Yes, he’s as cool as he looks.)
The staff were extremely loving, delightful, and kindhearted. They made the whole process of our adoption seamless.
