Alert: This is also a hardware store. I've lived in Ojai for 7 years and just found out lightbulbs can be purchased here. Speaking of lightbulbs, none are firing off in the discriminating brains of their lackluster, arrogant, boobish employees. One may have been the manager. If you're not a guy or one of their regulars, you will be stared at and ignored. I was feeling pretty good and up for the challenge that day so tried hard to engage with them which included pulling out my sense of humor. It was a lost cause. They get one star for selling lightbulbs and 0 for everything else.

Went a couple times when I needed material. Both times the yard workers would pick out the worst old pieces of lumber trying to give me junk for overpriced material. Got upset the 2nd time and complained to the manager. He told me you don’t have to shop here. And basically told me not to bother coming back. So very true I will not. And neither should anyone reading this review. BNC in Ventura is more than 50% cheaper and prime lumber for the picking. Save your wallet and headache. Go to Ventura. It’s worth the savings. I haven’t been back to Ojai Lumber nor will I.
