The staff at this pharmacy ***really*** care and try to go the extra mile to help patients. I feel like it has been a long few years for them (product shortages, giving vaccines, Covid tests, etc. - all with what seems like no extra head count) and I've been consistently impressed by how they still go the extra mile to help patients. I am thankful for this neighborhood pharmacy and all they are doing to keep our community healthy.

Manager and staff were very kind when my elderly Mom and I arrived for her vaccination. Seeing Mom on oxygen they assisted us in getting her to a seat near a plug and then saw her as quickly as possible. This would be a 5 star for that service but the store needs some TLC (their massive wall fridge is out of service) I'm hoping the powers that be will get that fixed soon - I miss my Ben and Jerry's

I've been using this pharmacy for years and know the staff members by name. They're always pleasant and helpful.Unfortunately today I had an unpleasant experience with a new employee named Michelle. SHE REFUSED to get my prescription when I asked why I had to give her my full date of birth. I had never been asked that before, normally they just ask the month and day! All I did was ask!!! She walked away and refused to provide service to a long term customer!I hope she changes her attitude or finds a job where she doesn't have to interact with customers!

Waiting 15 minutes on hold is ridiculous. Had to move on. Management is sad. Pharmacy is pathetic.

That way everyone can understand how Rite Aid indentions to correct this issue.Original Review:I don't make a habit of writing reviews, but I very much hope my issues are addressed as soon as possible.I'm very disappointed and concerned for how employees are treated at my local RiteAid. The manager, Marion, speaks to her peers with a military like authority and shocking disrespect in front of customers. This leads to a very uncomfortable shopping experience. I was hoping my visit would be a quick, but there was too much of a wait at the ice cream and cashier line. I understand that managers can be busy with other tasks, but Marion got busy telling her employees what to do rather than helping her peers with the traffic. Until these issues are address I don't believe I'll be shopping at RiteAid let alone this one.

I don't write reviews often but this rite aid pharmacy is absolutely horrible. Went to the store twice in one day, & not ready. Mind you that was 6 hours in between each visit. and then had to wait till the next day. Call the next morning around 10:30 am and it's still not ready. Why is it taking over 24 hours ? Then I finally get there and I can't even get the meds because the pharmacist isn't there so I have to come back for a 4th time. Will never use this pharmacy and I suggest everyone else does the same if you don't wanna waste your time. Also don't bother calling the pharmacy. It took over 3 times for them to answer the phone.Update: they gave me the wrong pill amount on top of it all. Do not come here.

The people at Rite Aid are nice and patient, location is clean and conveniently located.Unfortunately picking up at the pharmacy has been generally inconvenient for me. I've lost track of the number of times I've had make more than one trip to pick up a prescription. The pharmacist takes her lunch at the same time when I have have time to go to the pharmacy. Since they let me know when she's generally out I've been showing up later when picking up new prescriptions.Unfortunately I incorrectly assumed that I'd be OK picking up something I've been getting for the last year. It's aggravating to wait in line, see everything packed up, pay for it, and then be told it's considered a new prescription and not a refill. Now I need to go back and wait again to have the pharmacist spend 3 seconds to verify that I've had the Rx before. I'm sure there's a legal reason for it, but there's got to be a better way. My insurance company keeps bugging me to use their Rx by mail service, which I'll probably start doing.To avoid a waste of time, don't try to pick up a prescription between 1 and 2 pm! (Or go somewhere else.)

This Rite Aid is the nearest drugstore to where I live; it has everything I've ever gone in for. No complaints there. The only downsides to this location really has nothing to do with Rite Aid itself, but the City of Oceanside. It seems like this location is a harbor for transients and drug users. There's always some meth head roaming around or legit walking around the store looting and nothing is done to stop it. Makes me want to throw my morals and caution into the wind and just go on a "shopping spree". But, I'd totally get arrested. Yeah, so aside from that, great Rite Aid.

Sent one prescription here and will NEVER make that mistake again. Was told to come back because they didn't have my prescription "in stock". Asked my Doctor and was told the opposite, that when he called the prescription in they said it would be ready in an hour. Went back two more times and the useless pharmacist and staff continued with this bullshit story. Left town for work, then receive a message saying I have 5 days to pickup my prescription. Never go to this rite aid.

Thanks Damon for great customer service scooping great ice cream for us tonight. Nothing more satisfying than Rite Aid ice cream. Chic chip cookie dough and chocolate malted crunch.

I love this Rite Aid, Kile is the best! Excellent customer service, and is always working so hard to make sure every area of the store, is running smooth and taking care of! My favorite store in the neighborhood!

This is the second time I've been to this drive through pharmacy & it's terrible!! They are so unorganized, unfriendly & I sat waiting for 45min & second time left without my sons medication. So not full your prescription here you will regret it! I'm moving mine elsewhere & I won't be back.

Worst rite aid to exist. I have gone in here now 3 different times hoping third time was a charm but it was not. Everytime I go in there the ice cream shop is closed for "maintenance" I go in there at 8:45, 8:50, 9:00 and the lady is always cleaning. HOW SAD! Don't come here!!!!

Pharmacy is pretty s***. Waited an hour to get my prescription filled. Lady wrote down my number and said they'd text me once it's ready. One day later, where's the text message? Waste of my time.
