Just went in store, line was past the actual line area, waiting in line and was getting checked out, some of my items had clearance tags that I FOUND in the clearance section. The girl that was ringing me up had to verify that the items I got were actually the prices. I had to stand there with the notion that I probably put clearance tags on random items I wanted. Ridiculous. She verified both items WERE the actual price on the red sticker. I had to stand there looking stupid yet correct at the same time. If you guys have clearance tags why doesn’t it link to what the item is instead of having customers basically being treated like they did something to it? I told the girl if it’s a big deal then I’ll just go without them, she insisted she had to do that yet I’ve NEVER had an issue buying clearance tagged items.

Mariah was a WONDERFUL woman I just met. Three weeks ago I was shopping at TJ Maxx with my teenage daughter. Evidently we left the phone behind and didn’t know it (it’s an ancient phone that is used for emergencies only) and they kept the phone! After a long list of possible locations, we called TJ Maxx and Mariah got on the phone and confirmed the description and held it until I got there. Weeks! They held the phone for weeks and wow, I’m really glad. All the staff there are so nice. Thank you, Mariah!!

First staff is nice so I want to compliment them. This next comment is for store manager and how they operate the jewelry counter . They only have one employee working the jewelry counter. Instead of that employee manning the jewelry counter only , she kept ringing up customers with various items( not even jewelry) and having to leave to go to front counter to have security tags removed. Then people would be stacked up waiting to look at jewelry- with NO idea who's been waiting the longest. That's not a very good system. I almost just gave up and walked out and left a cart filled with stuff.
