This is by far the best vet I have ever been to. Dr Hofmann is so kind to my dogs, she sits on the floor with them and makes sure to give me all of the time I need to answer every question. You’re supporting a family run business, I can’t recommend this practice enough! 10/10!

We have taken both of our cats to Temple Heights and have had excellent experiences. The staff and Dr Hoffman have been great. They routinely check in and communicate with you what going on with your pet. We will continue to bring our pets there!

Took my two Shiba Inus to see Dr. Hoffman for their annual wellness visit- we’re new clients. What an amazing experience! Dr. Hoffman is so easy-going, gentle, and caring. She came into the exam room with a little cup of whipped cream and sat down on the floor, slowly getting to know my furkids. Along with her empathic nature, Dr. Hoffman is very practical and down-to-earth. She is highly aware of the impact owners’ behavior have on their lives, and the behaviors we have to change in order for them to live as long as possible. Dr. Hoffman took plenty of time with us, was fully present, and even came to the front as we left. I came back in with an additional question, and the care team was just as happy to see me as when I first walked in. Two wellness visits, updating yearly vaccinations for both dogs, a senior blood panel and fecal test was less expensive than my previous vet. All the vet techs were fabulous, clearly explaining all charges prior to taking each dog to the back, and made me feel comfortable if I wanted to opt not to do something. Five different techs interacted with us, each one as kind as the next. They each gave the best care to to myself and my dogs during our visit. I left feeling like part of a family. My dog Skip has a lot of anxiety especially at the vet. Dr. Hofmann and the staff at Temple Heights were so good with him. It was such a relief to see how comfortable he was during his appointment. I’ll definitely return with Skip and my other 2 dogs when needed!

This is the best veterinary hospital I have ever, ever been to. I took my dog here on frequent visits as my husband is in the military and we had to fly across the country a couple times. We had an accident and had to rush my dog to emergency surgery in the middle of the night during the middle of me losing my job and us moving away from Cali. The emergency hospital made us think we were going to have to put him down because we couldn’t afford treatment. I called Temple Heights pretty much mid-panic attack thinking my dog was going to die. The man who works at the front, Dylan, talked me down and they were able to get me in and talk about the next steps on how to care for my dog. They helped us in every aspect possible, making sure my dog was their priority. Dr. Hoffman is absolutely amazing and extremely compassionate and explained everything I needed to know. Thank you not only to Dr. Hoffman and Dylan, but the rest of the staff that helped us save our dog.

I absolutely love the people here, and my dogs and cat love them too! When my baby Lola crossed over the Rainbow Bridge recently, Temple Heights were the ones I called because she crossed over at home and they handled her with such love, care and respect that I literally couldn’t ask for anything more. I take my Simba and Obie there and they love the Veterinarians and the Techs and don’t put up a fight when I have to hand them over. Pics below for attention.

Dr. was okay. My kitty had a skin infection and got an antibiotic shot. What I really was disappointed about was that she said she had a better flea product that was better that others. When I received the product it was not only for fleas but for heartworm and ticks as well. My indoor kitty doesn't get ticks OR mosquitoes and already with a skin infection, didn't need MORE POISON in his system. These vets get kick backs on selling this stuff to EVERY customer they see. WISH I'd given it back. Still searching for an honest vet in Oceanside.

Very caring and understanding.I would highly recommend. They took care of our dog when he was injured and later when we had to say goodbye to him. Both times they were able to get me an appointment the same day. No high pressure sales - instead care and options for what is best.

Very greatful to find this place . The owner Angela is amazing and very good . She can think on her feet . Make good decisions on what is needed without wasting resources $$. She has ALOT of Integrity!!!! She honestly keeps the animals best interest a priority!!!Super hard to find a good vet that you TRUST and also able to handle emergencies. She leads with grace .Her team is professional and caring .Highly recommendTrusted

Very nice staff and the Vet that examine my dog was exactly what I was looking for in the person who is taking care of my pet. I was welcomeds in exam room, Dr. Damm was so gentle and patient with my very scared dog and even had treats for. It is a good place to take the four legged members of your family.
