They damaged my stairs during move and won't return my calls. The person in customer service could care less.

I had a smooth transaction using Spry from SD to Dana Point. We were able to schedule them five days prior to our move out date and have them complete the job in no more than six hours.

I've got information about this company from my neighbor. They have told me that the experience with them was pretty got, however mine was not as good as I've expected. I've moved my 1 bedroom recently to Riverside. I've trusted movers and did not follow the truck. It took me 2 hours to get to my destination (GPS showed 1 hr 56 min) , but movers were not there yet . I understand that the truck is slower, but I was driving no more than 65 mph. The clock passes 3 hours mark, the truck still did not arrive . Driver did not answer my calls , the office manager was always telling that they will show up shortly. Fast forward , it took them 3 hours and 20 minutes to get to the destination , and beside the bill for 3.5 hours I was charge another 3.5 hours for their drive back . that's ridiculous. After complaining over the phone they have ended up discounting 20 min for the drive ( total of 40 min) and they have refused deduct in accordance to the google maps. I had to take this case to the credit card company to dispute.

Never again. These movers not only moved slow as snails so they could make more, they put 2 gashes in the walls of my new home! Didn’t realize it until today when I had to move the dresser for something. The walls were perfect before since this is a newly built home that underwent a ton of inspections before we closed. Movers come then suddenly there’s 2 big holes behind where they put my daughter’s dresser. The dresser has not been moved since they were here. They also brought a mover with them that had a black shut eye and he couldn’t see well enough. Had the audacity to ask for a tip after careless slow work. Would not recommend!

I called Spry Movers on July 22, 2023 to schedule a move for the following month. They took down my information and told me I'd get a call back. The next day, I got a call from a man named Garrett who was very courteous and got me scheduled for a convenient date, let me know the cost, and took a $100 deposit.A couple days before the scheduled move date, he called to confirm that we were still on for Sunday, and I said yes. He told me to expect the movers to show up at 9 am, and that they'd call me up to an hour in advance to let me know they were on their way.9 am came and went, with no call and no movers. I finally called Garrett's number back to ask what was going on. The woman who answered took all my information down again and said I'd get a call back. 20 minutes later, a man called and told me that "a couple of the movers" never showed up and that he was looking for replacements. As he was about to hang up on me, I said, "wait wait, can I get a time estimate?" He said, "at least two hours" and hung up.Two hours came and went, and I heard nothing, so I called back. First I tried to call the man back, but only got his voicemail. He didn't respond to the voicemail I left. Then I tried calling the number back that Garrett had called from. They needed all my information again.I let them know how urgent it was that we get the move done on that day. I had spent the whole weekend packing and, as someone who works from home, could no longer do my job the next day until my stuff was moved/unpacked. They said they "sent out an urgent message" and to expect a call back.An hour came and went, still nothing. After yet another call, I *finally* heard back from a woman named Olivia, who works for a different company (Gorilla Movers). So Spry must have contracted the job out to someone else without telling me, probably because they knew they couldn't fulfill their obligation to me and would be in deep trouble if I lost my job over it. I was 1000000% ready to sue them if nobody showed: you took a deposit, I suffered damages, we had an oral contract.Absolutely horrendous experience all around. If you can afford to pay a deposit and have nobody show up on moving day, by all means call Spry. Otherwise, I'd suggest calling literally anyone else.

I called Spry at the recommendation of my dad, whose friend circle regularly refers customers to them (including businesses like their church, from my understanding). They took down my information and I got a call back from Garrett, who was very professional and was able to schedule a team of movers for 9 am this past Sunday. He took down my payment info, charged a $100 deposit, and told me he'd call to confirm 1-2 days before the move. The Friday before, he called me back to confirm whether we were still good for Sunday. I said yes and he said the movers would be there around 9 am, and that they'd call me up to an hour before that to let me know they were on their way. I wake up super early that Sunday, excited to finally be moving into my new place. 9 am came and went, but I heard nothing. Eventually I called back, had to give all of my information again (it was like they had no record of me anymore?), and they said I'd get a call back. About 20 minutes later, a man called me to let me know that "a couple of the movers" didn't show up (um, thanks for letting me know? Why did I have to call to hear this?) and that he was looking for replacements. As he was about to hang up on me, I said, "wait wait, can I get a time estimate please?" He said, "at least a couple of hours" and hung up. A couple of hours came and went and I heard nothing. I tried calling him back but he wouldn't take my call and never called back in response to my voicemails (I wasn't rude or anything). So I called Spry again, had to give all of my information once again, and they said they'd call back. Another hour went by, nothing. So finally I call AGAIN and leave another message. I let them know this was urgent, that I HAD to be out that day or I couldn't do my job the next day (I work from home and half of my stuff was at each place, and not in a usable state), and that this would have serious financial consequences for me. I finally hear back from a woman that I would later learn worked for a different moving company (so they must have contracted it out, but they were apparently happy to take credit for the other company because nobody informed me of this), and she got me taken care of. By this point it was almost the end of the day and I would have been absolutely screwed had I not called repeatedly and absolutely INSISTED that they honor their contract with me. Absolutely horrible experience. If you look at this company's reviews, you'll see that the positive ones are largely from YEARS ago, so that five star overall rating doesn't mean much anymore. However great they may have been 3-7 years in the past, this company will make your already stressful move an absolute nightmare today. I recommend looking elsewhere.

I can't say enough good things about Spry Movers business. Our belongings were handled with care, and nothing was too much hard for the crew. Completed with a cheery disposition. Both the estimate and the office visit went smoothly.

Duncan and his colleagues handled the entire relocation with efficiency and competence. We are really grateful to him for his assistance in moving into our first new house and we definitely recommend Spry Movers. The three flights of stairs and the large pieces of furniture proved to be a challenge, but they dealed it. You won't find lower costs anywhere else.

FIVE STARS. In point of fact, all of the stars should go to these men because WOW. I have decided that I will never move again by myself. They were timely, effective, professional, and pleasant, and just truly made our lives a million times easier

Very professional and attentive to detail movers. In our experience, having absolutely no harm done to either our furniture or our property is more the exception than the usual. Extremely satisfied with how the whole day went!
