I donated an electric bike. I was shocked that I didn't have to listen to reasons or rules.

I take the drive to Temecula to visit this large Salvation Army store to deliver my slightly used households and clothing to be resold, and for my shopping needs. They are quite large and have a huge variety of items for sale, as you would expect. There are plenty of friendly employees, the quality of items is excellent and their prices are reasonable. They do have sales from time to time. I have literally furnished and decorated a small house entirely from this Salvation Army store. Their prices are very fair, plenty of parking, and they accept donations in back of the store. The drive is worth it.

Once again yelled at and treated very rude by the volunteer. I work in this community and it's not my fault I don't make enough for luxuries like food. Every time I come here I'm treated rudely because I don't eat meat especially pork. This is suppose to be a Christian place and the Bible says no pork. Today I was screamed at, I waited patiently in the back of the line and when I got there she screamed at me saying " we are out of food for the day , I don't remember your name but you!!" As she pointed and screamed at me. I always get singled out and treated like that here. And for what to mostly just throw away expired inedible food that the stores donate because they can't throw away. Not sure where all those tithing, donations and king a king monies go but it's not for food for the poor as they claim. Not sure why they have a problem with me personally it really hurts to be treated like that.

They don't answer the phone or emails. I don't have gas to drive there on a gamble of help. Why even have a phone number????

I wonderful place for those that are in need. I've been going there now give or take almost a year. They always provide with whatever they can and the people were very nice and they welcome you and are warm and always smiling. And when they remember you as being the regular they always ask you how the family is doing and how you're doing and if there's anything that can help you with. It's amazing that there are people out there in the world that do care about other people and will help other people. And you also have to give back. That's being the perfect human.

I arrived on a Tuesday and there was a sign stating donations were not accepted on Tuesday or Wednesday. I was leaving town and my trunk was full of donations. I could see there were some large receptacles (not dumpsters) in the roped off area. I thought I could leave them there. A man came out of the door and yelled, "Did you read the sign?" Then he just stared at me defying me to leave anything there so I left with a trunk full of nice things that could've been put to good use.

Since Goodwill's donation center was closed near the middle of the week of all times and wouldn't take what I had to give, I brought the basket of pants I had that don't fit me anymore here. The lady there gave me a bin to load them up in and had a receipt ready by the time I was done filling it and brought it back to her. No muss, no fuss. Easy peasy.
