I was referred to S&S by a friend. Running a junk removal business requires constant maintenance so we needed to find a trustworthy, honest and affordable company to help us. S&S has done all the work on our fleet vehicles as well as our personal ones. Robert is a knowledgeable professional who clearly explains the needed services and steps to take; we love how he doesn’t attempt to upsell. Can’t thank them enough for all the amazing work they’ve done over the last years and keeping our business going!

So my AC in my Honda CRV went out. Me and my Frenchie are heat sensitive! I took it to the Honda dealer to get a estimate. They wanted $4000 to fix my AC ! I posted a add on the Nextdoor app in my neighborhood so I could find a more affordable place. I got a few shop suggestions and I decided to go with S&S. I took it in for a diagnoses & it needed less parts then Honda wanted to replace. So the cost was less then half the price of Honda. Robert and his Mother that works in the office were very helpful and worked with me and my schedule. I highly reccomend them if you have any auto repair needs !

Best shop in Oceanside for any vehicle. They are the only ones I will allow to work on my classic car. Robert is the owner and his mom runs the desk. I support small business and they are the best at what they do.

At the suggestion of a trusted friend, I brought my 2013 Mazda 3 to Robert after a different mechanic could not figure out why my car was behaving as if it was possessed. The other mechanic charged me to do this, then charged me to do that, and each time after one week, the problem persisted. Robert couldn't diagnose the problem the day I brought the car in, so he kept the car overnight and worked with it again the next day. He was able to reproduce the issue but couldn't find the root cause. When I picked up the car and asked him how much I owe him for the time he put into it, he said, "Nothing, because we didn't fix it." No mechanic has ever said that to me before. Blew me away and turned me into a loyal customer. And about a week later, the problem disappeared.

Looking for a great, honest, ethical auto service shop? Look no further. S&S is fantastic! They took my vehicle in for a repair that another shop thought was a lot more costly one. Fixed it, and diagnosed another issue that popped up and simply wouldn't quit until they resolved the issue! Robert is completely open and honest about the work needed and is a very ethical businessman! Will be brining other cars and recommending him to friends and family for their needs! Updated 2022 September 14, amazing service after car had been out without AC for 2 years due to compressor and additional problems, this shop was able to fix the problem in one day along with a oil change. Very satisfied with the price and work. AC is blowing cold air again!Services: Oil change

Excellent customer service and communication. They took me on short notice and solved my vehicle problems at a very fair price. Owner was very personal and and clearly explained my vehicle problems. Opened since 1968 so they are doing something right.
