I walked right out when I noticed ROSS employees have implemented WALMART policy.
The store layout is great as is. Loss prevention employee is by the doors, having visibility at all customers carts; making sure nothing is being held to the side. Incorporating a policy that forces a customer to have their receipt checked only irritates customers, eventually driving customers away.
I dont like it with WALMART; I won't like it with ROSS

I’ve lived near this Ross for over 3 years. Today is the first time I’ve found even a single item I would want to purchase. They have started checking receipts here, as if they are allowed to… only membership stores are allowed to check receipts. That’s just how it is. The cashier even told the teenager working in front that I paid for everything. So as I’m carrying out giant rugs, he stops me anyways to ask for my receipt. I said “the cashier verbally telling you two seconds ago I paid for everything isn’t good enough?” I told their “loss prevention” teenager working the receipt game at the front the deal with them not being allowed to enforce looking at peoples receipts because they are not a membership based store and he replies “that’s cool.” Customer service is so dead. Kids have no respect or commitment to upholding any level of professionalism in the work place. You know what would be “cool” is to stop checking people’s receipts, because you’re not allowed to enforce that legally. Also, it must be illegal to have the. Entrance door non working from the inside too. Hmm. Won’t be coming here ever again.

the fitting room lady was extremely passive aggressive and made me uncomfortable with her attitude. After reading these reviews it looks like i’m not alone when it came down to this experience, do better.

You find a wide variety of branded clothing as well as household items. They also have a variety of footwear for the whole family. Of course, you have to be very patient to find what you are looking for. It is a fairly large department store with many purchasing options.

This Ross has a great selection of nice brand items ! I can always find what I am looking for and nice gifts for friends and family for a great price. The people at the cashiers are nice and friendly, same with the ladies at the fitting room .

I love this Ross but the customer service at my visit on Saturday 1/6/24 was so bad that I don't want to go back. The lady at the fitting room around 1pm was so rude and obviously hates her job. I only had 2 things to try on. Pants that weren't even on a hanger I picked it off the top of the rack and a dress that was about to fall off the hanger anyway! The lady made me hang them before I could try them on because she needed to make sure it was only 2 items.. like what?? Then, before she handed me the number to enter the fitting room, she made sure to tell me that I better hang them back up correctly. I honestly felt like she was bothered that I was trying stuff on. I get it, nobody likes putting away clothes, but if you're going to run the fitting rooms then you could at least be nice. She made me want to leave. It's too bad because this Ross is close to home and now I will avoid it at all costs.
