I highly recommend this place. The portion sizes are amazing and the workers here are really kind. It's also a restaurant and little market connected together which I like because after eating, I can do a little bit of grocery shopping or shop for dessert after I'm done eating there.

What a great find in Oceanside! I had the Friday lunch special...2 tamales, rice, beans, and a drink. Great tasting meal and great value ($9.99)

It's OK, I was hoping to find a wider selection of Mexican products to prepare authentic Mexican meals and I only walked out with a pack of corn tortillas, they are good tortillas, everything else I can buy anywhere else

the ladies in the kitchen are rude. especially if you come in an hour before closing. as soon as i arrived i wasn't greeted, i instead received dirty looks for the ladies working and they were gossiping to each other. they had me wait 30 minutes for a dozen tamales. no one else was in when i came. 3 people came in after me, 2 males and a couple. and 2 of them also ordered tamales. everyone got their food before me and left before me. i ordered a small cup of champurrado and when i questioned why it's smaller than the cup on display, she said that's the cup i get. as soon as i was getting ready to drive off, i see them laughing and pointing at me. completely rude and unprofessional service and hospitality. don't bother coming here. go to La Perla Tapatia instead. the tamales weren't even fresh. they microwaved them.

One of the most authentic food you'll find in Oceanside and it tastes delicious. I highly recommend their Menudo and chicken flair as. Bomb

Great little market for convenience produce items. Decent prices on most things, not dairy. There's a restaurant connected to the market that sells really good food.

This is my place for carne asada. I like to get the marinated arrachera beef. It grills up so good.

This is the only place I found my brothers favorite El Yucateco salsa. Also the only place I found that had real mole de Oaxaca without preservatives

They always have what I need for those special and traditional Mexican recipes. Great varieties and cuts of high quality meats.

I walked into this place with the intention of having lunch, and I decided to order a menudo with hand-made tortillas and a carne asada quesadilla. The menudo was delicious, but the quesadilla was quite disappointing. The flour tortilla was moist and soggy due to being kept in a damp container all day. As a result, I asked the kitchen cook to redo the quesadilla without carne asada. Unfortunately, the male manager was not very friendly, and the kitchen cook had to talk to him after I made the request. To summarize, while the kitchen cook tried her best to address the situation, the poor customer service and lack of management skills of the male manager made me give this place a one-star review.
