Love love love this place! I don’t live close so all my purchases have been online. Super helpful, always kind! Love every single item I receive! Thank goodness I don’t live close as I’d be handing my paycheck over every month! ? ❤️? Thank you Ransack!

True vintage! Lots of western wear but also everything vintage in between! Kids clothes, home wares to two piece swimwear from the 50's-70's! Fun to visit and grab a branded tee or shop for the true vintage aficionado.

What a wonderful experience. My mom, husband and I came in to look for jeans. Sami was so helpful finding the perfect jeans for us! They were extremely kind and patient with us since pants can be so hard to find. Especially the perfect pair. You’re getting what you are paying for and they had great quality products. I definitely see myself keeping these jeans forever. Thanks again and we’ll be back!

Hands down the best vintage store in San Diego County to sell to. The staff is super knowledgeable but unpretentious. I trust them 100% to give me fair prices on what they take. The selection is solid and fills a gap of americana/true vintage in SD county retail. Would highly recommend a visit if you have any interest at all in true vintage.

This is hands down my favorite vintage shop in San Diego. They specialize in 1940-60s or older western/Americana but thats not to say you wont find some pieces up to the 90s, like some levis jeans or some cool worn in harley/band tees. The selection is always changing since they buy all the time so you have to make sure to visit often. Looking for vintage cowboy boots?? They have the biggest selection in San Diego. The owner Scout and Sami are very friendly and sweet. Sami has even gone out of her way when she knows I'm looking for a particular item for my collection to help me find it.If you haven't been to this shop you're missing out!

California prices for everyday things you can find in grandma and grandpa’s closet and attic. Military field jacket liner, very worn out $48… same item $15 like new at a military ship or online. Wool plaid shirts/coats from the 70s and 80s, priced far above a brand new all wool garments. You can find the same stuff while traveling. Stop by a small town thrift store, enjoy the trip across America.

loved the amazing selection of stuff they had in this place! i'm an east coast native and all of the inventory was very west coast vibe, so i was in my heaven. the only thing i would say i did not like was that the prices seemed a little bit on the pricey side. other than that, 10/10 recommend! found an adorable pair of 70s psychadelic bloomers here and i can't wait to wear them.

What a cool little shop with lots of great items! This is a vintage spot and not a thirft store so keep that in mind. This is usually not my type of store but I was surprised that there were several things that I would buy. I love that they sell Craft and Foster candles which smell amazing!!! They don't just sell clothing they also sell some houseware items, accessories, soaps, and modern stuff. I love to support small local businesses so I had to stop by and show some love. If you see something that you like go ahead and buy because it's not a guarantee that it'll be there next time or they might not have your size. The place is very well organized with tons of great items from vintage to modern. Great job Ransack very well done!

By far the best Vintage store in San Diego.Beautifully curated, they carry everything from new old stock, to the most thrashed barn finds you’ve ever seen. And while there prices are seemingly high, within the vintage world, they price many items accessibly and offer a wide variety of price points. The staff are all warm, super down to earth and never pushy at all. Each employee has a unique and rad style and different areas of expertise they can lend their knowledge to. I’ve been buying and selling to this store for over a year and love going in every time. They also pay the best of any vintage store with a buy counter in San Diego and will buy many old things that no other store recognizes the value of.Locally owned and operated by a small team of truly cool and kind people. 10/10 recommend to every vintage head that comes to town and even jus someone lookin for inspiration or something cool for their wardrobe.

This is a very lovingly and thoughtfully curated vintage store. Prices are on par with what this type of store usually presents, with the tees seeming very reasonable and some of the sundry items seeming a touch expensive. The 2 star rating is for the shop person - no greeting, on their phone the whole time, unapproachable demeanor when I walked up to the front to ask a question, completely and utterly checked out. I get it's boring, but this is a standard brick and mortar shop - there is no other approach or face of the shop than the sales person. It could be that in my casual running errands outfit I wasn't cool enough to be bothered with, or maybe it's the fact that I am a size 16 and this being a pretty standard curated vintage shop they don't bother with the complex sourcing of vintage items above a size 8. Being someone who hits these stores across the country I am used to this type of shop being a wonderful place to meet people who are as enthusiastic as I am about vintage gear and I guess expected more of an "experience". Overall, left a sour taste in my mouth and a desire to not return.

A really cool local vintage shop. Not a thrift store and you can tell they spend a lot of time curating and picking all of the stuff. Good selection and all the workers are knowledgable about dating items and willing to share with you how to tell how old the items are which is cool. Sami always point me in a great direction and love asking for her advice.

This place....beautiful and amazing. So many cute vintage pieces. My mother law and myself were going through the store and loved a couple a pieces. Later we thought to ourselves that we should have bought them however they closed at 6. We were walking to go to get dinner and noticed the open sign was still open. My husband ran across the street to check and even though they were technically closed he told them what happened and knew exactly what pieces we wanted. She helped him find the two jackets and get them for us! Couldn't thank them enough! Great staff and customer service!
