I like this store and shop here frequently. Overall the store is very nice. The company gets 4 stars because trying to contact Ralph's is invasive. They want name email address and more information than I wish to provide. Here's an issue that Ralph's needs to addresss, I noticed this a few weeks back. And haven't had time to jump through the hoops. I was at self checkout, which is usually covered by 1 worker that is either distracted by other customers or chatting with employees. One person"customer" was watching for the distraction. His cart was full of expensive meat and a package of cheap meat. He'd place the expensive meat over the cheap package of similar weight.. scan the cheap stuff then put the expensive package on the scale. When I went to the parking lot he was laughing with a friend that then went into the store, probably to do the same scam. These union workers usually strike for higher grocery wages, but are they really doing the work and AI robot couldn't do better? This is for their job security. They need to be more accurate and watch for obvious slide of hand.

interesting - i used to manage a high end grocery store so i know what i'm talking about i just asked an employee who was walking by the baking aisle i was in, a question. i could not find the baking soda at all. i asked her if she knew where it was and she said "on the aisle your on- you have to look up and down". omg ! what a helpful person! am i bothering you ? i'm so sorry !! deli guy helped me and he said it's on the opposite side you would think - and was actually nice so not all of their employees are rude !!

The prices here are sky-high for what the items are. Even items on sale were "normal" priced. Better off driving to Grocery Outlet. This location does not carry contact lens solution like other Ralph's, but they have every other kind of toiletry imaginable. When checking out, I told the cashier I did not want a bag and was only buying 3 items. A bag was quickly provided by the bagger and the 10 cent fee was added before I could do anything. Parking lot was filled with glass and I saw a homeless woman entering the store. Definitely avoid this location.

I love the meat and the butcher aisle here cause I like to enjoy steaks and see the butcher area. Enjoy the fan sounds in the meat aisle. I love this location.

If you're using the DMV kiosk inside, the tap function for cards doesn't work. For the credit card, it was charging then cancelling the fee. That was kind of frustrating. I wish the management put up a sign unless they're going to fix it. Even with the fee, it's quick and painless. ALSO, you don't need your renewal notice nor your current registration. As long as you pretend to have the card, it just asked for my license plate and last 5 of the VIN. I don't know why last time, I literally drove home, thinking I needed to scan the code because this time, I'm pretty sure I threw away the darn thing.Luckily, they have the Starbucks cold brew dark chocolate with oatmilk. So far, I've only seen the vanilla with oatmilk at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Mission in Oceanside. I still prefer Califia Farms over Starbucks, but I don't think they carry the coffee versions at this location. Another positive is that they carry Mush in various flavors because sometimes, I can't find it at Sprout's.And thanks to the employee who wasn't sure what was up with the kiosk but was willing to grab another employee.

I was shopping for Super Bowl foods and was in the Deli section looking for great munchies. Ming, a rep for Boars Head, was in the area setting up displays. She introduced herself, began showing me suggestions for dips and sauces, and more. What a delightful lady. She deserves a shout out!

After at least 6 weeks of notifying bakery dept. of the small flies in there self-serve, enclosed bakery box, they are still there. I told a bakery attendee again but was told to tell the manager. It seems that after 6 weeks they would do something to get rid of the small flies in there. Go look for yourself, but be cautious about buying anything that they are drilling in to.

I frequent a lot of grocery stores in the area and I have to say I look forward to coming to this Ralph's. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. The aisles are easy to navigate, the store is always clean, and they do well at ensuring quality items. Life isn't perfect and I think some of the negative reviews come from people with unreachable expectations.

A lot of employees act and looked pissed off all the time. The bakery and service deli suck. no more custom sanwiches in the deli, employees fighting with each other and if you ask the guy a question in the bakery, the male employee gets all mad says he dont know and thats not his department in a mean agrassive voice. bathrooms are dirty. tortillas are out of code.

Not sure what the bad reviews were for. Store was clean and inviting. We stopped by for some much needed groceries and found everything we were looking for and more. Lol. The deli was clean and the staff was awesome. Waited about 10 minutes for a rotisserie chicken to come out of the oven. Staff made sure we got one of the first ones out. Love the staff and store.

I really do not like the self checkout and this store really wants me to use them. Even on the weekends and holiday shopping they have only one or two cashier lines open. Big long lines for these SHOULD trigger the manager to open more lines! Manager l, please open more cashier lines. I'm a good customer. Those self check out machines are awful and annoying.

Dirtiest Ralphs I've ever been in. Only one full service check out open at a time. Deli counter closes at 5 p.m. why even bother having one.

Nice big wine selection, all prices and brands. Plus when you buy 6 bottles you get 30% off. Conveniently located across from Grazianos Pizzeria, you can order your pizza then dash across the parking lot to buy a few essentials. Lots of self checkout.

David, manager, not helpful at all. Won't return because of him. However, Michele, the cashier that assisted me, was extremely sweet. She is the only reason for not giving this place one star.
