“I’ve been here more than a dozen times over the last 15 years.
My daughter’s orthopedic Dr sent in a prescription 2 days prior to the surgery. I received a text msg stating it has received the order for it.
Great! But at no point did they let me know that it was on “back order” or that the Norco they had on hand was a “higher dosage and you would need to request that “ from my daughters doctor UNTIL I showed up at the window. Even if it was text message stating it wasn’t on hand and to suggest going to a different pharmacy …. That being said.

I gave 4 stars because usually they have been great. This is the only time I’ve had this happen. Drive-thru is convenient and I’m grateful for it. There can be a long wait depending on what other cars are needing and if they have it on hand. Otherwise not terribly long. They are good about asking if you can go to the back of the line while they search for or prepare the prescription needed and allow those who have something quick to grab and get their stuff and move on. I’m usually pretty flexible and understand it helps keep things flowing.”

“I like this store and shop here frequently. Overall the store is very nice. The company gets 4 stars because trying to contact Ralph's is invasive. They want name email address and more information than I wish to provide. Here's an issue that Ralph's needs to addresss, I noticed this a few weeks back. And haven't had time to jump through the hoops. I was at self checkout, which is usually covered by 1 worker that is either distracted by other customers or chatting with employees. One person"customer" was watching for the distraction. His cart was full of expensive meat and a package of cheap meat. He'd place the expensive meat over the cheap package of similar weight.. scan the cheap stuff then put the expensive package on the scale. When I went to the parking lot he was laughing with a friend that then went into the store, probably to do the same scam. These union workers usually strike for higher grocery wages, but are they really doing the work and AI robot couldn't do better? This is for their job security. They need to be more accurate and watch for obvious slide of hand.”

“This place is a fine local choice: The pharmacy staff are attentive and swift. Beware pharmacy hours are shorter than the store. And there is a decent selection of items to purchase relative to the square footage of the place. I always find a parking space in their lot. The employees are kind. I have lived in many cities, and this location is one of the best. Remember to get your receipt for the coupons, awesome deals. Last time I picked up my meds I got a string of coupons that I instantly used at the checkout counter for other purchases.”

“The Marron Road Walmart Pharmacy has offered a more streamlined customer experience compared to the College Boulevard Walmart Pharmacy. Although Mark Cuban's CostPlus Drug Company has the absolutely lowest prices, I will take my business to Marron Road Walmart Pharmacy if I need the Rx faster than can be provided in the mail. “I grab all my War 24 pack, cept 10 here. Also my stuff for sald with gorgonza, red onion and bacon I chop up. I keep forgetting to buy a bag of baby spinach. Even overweiht and COMEPLETELY BLOATED at 6'5 and hauloing trash for Waste Management allday, again statrting my route Monday, I jist sity and drive a Cushy Chair but Wed is my route to pick up beddy Capt Fred's dumpster Wed so I'll ask for him all the time, and he jist tells me stries 'bout how a spuad car with two pakong officer wer val for a hesaid/ she saod compint and his kids Wed. He knows all my dumpster and trash and Boar crossing routes. I or my buddies pickup all the trash for apt blgds, drugstores, and houses one day. The produce looks great! The layout of the store makes shopping effortless. The outer walkways are wide, and the aisles are typical. I've gone here first thing in the morning, mid-day, and early evenings... it's always clean. (A million times cleaner than the Vons on Tamarack in C'bad. LOL) The self check out actually functions properly, so that was nice. The only downside? THE HORRENDOUS PARKING LOT. You'll find parking, that's not the issue. It's the compact size of the lot and the fact that it's part of a strip mall with no less than three fast food restaurants, three small biz restaurants, a party supply store, an Auto Zone, a barber shop, nail shop... you get the point. A LOT GOING ON IN A SMALL AREA. But, I am SO THANKFUL this WalMart is here!”

“I think this review is important, because so many people give CVS bad reviews, because they have to wait in line, or the medicine they need isn't available when they really need it. I understand that, and it is unfortunate. But I also understand, that long lines, and not having the medicine available, is rarely their fault. Until we "walk in someone's shoes", it's better not to judge, or criticize. I'm giving a positive review because every time I have been at the pharmacy, every staff member has treated me with kindness, professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness. I want to give a shout out to Shreya. She is the Pharmacy associate that usually helps me at the register. She is such a sweetheart! I always look forward to having her ring me up at the register, and help me with my prescriptions. it's associates like her, as well as specific ones at the retail counter, that make going to CVS a lot easier and rewarding! I will come back with compliments for other specific associates later, on this review, because I can't remember the name of a certain associate that helps me in the retail counter actually three of them, that I would like to personally thank publicly for their kindness, professionalism and helpfulness. There's no perfect place, or perfect person, but I do know that this pharmacy that I go to on Oceanside Blvd., has wonderful staff . Every once in a while, you might get a bad "weed", in the mix of all the "lovely flowers", but that's how it is in life with families, and businesses. It's best to appreciate all the lovelies. “This has been a fantastic pharmacy for the 7 yrs I’ve gone here. Jeff has always gone out of his way to help me find what I need, explain medications, is always on the lookout for contraindications or drug interactions and has a dry sense of humor which I have always enjoyed. It took awhile to set up the auto fill originally, and at times had to set it up again when a refill was sent but then it improved. Most of the techs here are helpful and pleasant but unfortunately they come & go. I have recently had to transfer my prescriptions to a Walgreens in San Diego & let me tell you, I miss this place. Don’t realize how good you have it until you don’t. Thanks Jeff for everything, it was always a pleasure!”

“This review is strictly in regards to the pharmacist, Mr. Reza Khodadadi, from whom I have received vaccines more than once. The rest of the pharmacy staff, whether at the drive-thru or inside at the desk are okay. I haven't experienced any blatant rudeness, but they generally are either a bit brusque or indifferent. I am extremely disheartened to find with many businesses now that increased wait and cost are also accompanied by a decrease in quality of service. Reza however, is a standout not only in knowledge and skill but also in customer service.I waited approximately 15 minutes past my appointment time, but when Reza called me for the shingles vaccine he was extremely thorough, and patiently answered my questions regarding side effects of the shingles vaccine and the current vaccination booster recommendations for COVID. I've noticed, especially during the rush to accommodate COVID vaccine needs, that many other places have become OK with being sloppy in the preparation and administration of vaccines, disregarding proper technique in favor of expediency (i.e. giving vaccines openly in the main customer area, grimy counters, etc). Here at CVS there are small clean private rooms. Reza was meticulous about proper handling of the vaccines and needles. Also he made sure to advise on the best position of my arm to minimize any pain, and was very gentle in the administration. He treated both my husband and I on a personal basis giving his full attention to our scheduled procedures and not being distracted or rushed. Yes I understand that staffing shortages adversely affect wait times, however his willingness to complete his job at an appropriate pace, spending a few extra minutes in order to make sure all was done correctly and in the best manner possible made all the difference in the world in terms of our trust in CVS.”
