Went to go get a bordetella shot. Called several other veterinary clinics and had multiple appointments and multiple cancellations and all kinds of other headaches, found Vetco and made an appointment same day and got it done. Thank god!

Anastasia helped me out in the aquatics department. She's super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
She also gave me a tip about how to transition my new fish into my tank.
I didn't feel judge when I said what fish I wanted, and when I kinda got too many for my hands ( I forgot a shopping basket) she offered to help me take the fish to the front.
I will definitely shop here for all my fishy products now ?

Was fun to see that the 100 ct mealworms I bought were all dead when I opened the container at home. I know I should’ve checked, but I’ve never bought so many dead meal worms in my life. I will be going to Reptile supply for now on. Their crickets are cheaper and less dead like the ones at petco who look like they’re on their last limbs half the time.

Caroline did the job of two people for me yesterday! She is a fine employee who found items for me, gave suggestions, checked me out, and was just a pleasure! Give that girl a raise!

Very disappointed with the store, they had one person on the floor working the registers, no one else,she was rude because I needed help, had questions and she needed to come to the area to look. I was there over an hour and watched her frustration checking people out, argumentative rude. Finally as she continued to check out people while I waited to check out, I finally said could you check me out please, wow that set her off!! I said calm down, I understand that PetCo has put you into a difficult working place, she jumped back and said Not Really. Then while checking me out never stopped going after me, saying you’ve been here for over an hour, you expected me to help you and more. I told her you really need to calm down. She went after me more, than said make sure you make a complaint and blah blah!! I finally said you should not be working in customer service. You have waited on 6 people and argued for little reason with everyone. SAD, These big companies customers service is crap, so they can put more money in their pockets. Then the Vet Clinic never lets you stay with your pet unless you demand it. I bet they have 1 vet what happened to the days where customer service went to. Most importantly our Pets are our family. You think I would let my child go in a back room for a shot? NO !!! Then the hours there opened are a joke they advertise walk-in clinic,!!! Not!!! I went on a Thursday for pills and a weight on my puppy, Closed… So the next week I went on Wednesday a sign said closed Wednesday and Thursday. There not open on Sunday. So what day are they open???? They take time off when they feel like it, or share the Vet who knows, you go to check in you have to ring a bell so someone shows up at the desk. It’s unconscionable They Post on there sites what looks good. They don’t post the truth. I am fining another Vet. Discussed & Sick of big business Price gauging and no customer concerns!!!

Petco has been our Go-To for all our pet’s needs! Not only for healthy, affordable pet care and food, but for everything else our pet needs! And there’s always a store close by no matter where we have lived! We’ve had many pets along the way and Petco has always been our home pet store.

Came here at exactly 7:58 pm and was not let in the store to buy one thing. When I asked why the girl at the door letting people out let me know they’re closed and I said but it’s only 7:58. Manager Tammy did not allow me in two min before their closing time. Will not be returning to petco. On my way to petsmart down the street now.
P.S. they should follow their posted hours.

Petco Oceanside Dog Training is exceptional.
I have been working with Laurie for almost a year now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about her and her training methods. My rescued pup was fearful and stubborn when we first started with Laurie, but thanks to her expertise and guidance, he has made incredible progress. Laurie's understanding of canine psychology and her patience and empathy have helped us create a loving and fulfilling relationship with our furry family member.
I was disheartened to see a recent review claiming that Laurie was "man-handling" dogs and being rude to owners. This simply does not match up with my own experience or observations. Laurie treats every dog with respect and care, and she always takes the time to explain training techniques and concepts to owners in a kind and understanding manner.
Additionally, Laurie's 20+ years of training experience and her success in training therapy dogs speak volumes about her skill and dedication to her craft. The opportunity to work with someone of her caliber at an affordable price is truly a gift.
I highly recommend Laurie as a dog trainer and encourage others to give her a chance to help improve the bond between you and your furry friend. Thank you, Laurie, for all that you do!

Big store, very clean. Dog groomers are excellent. They have a self serve bath area where you can wash your pet yourself. Wide variety of foods and toys.
