Amazing place! Thank you so much to Randy and the guy who greeted me at the store (sorry I don't know your name but your service was great too!) Randy was amazing about giving me calls and updates about my PC as he worked on it. Not only was he incredibly nice and informative through the process, he was also very straight with me about what could be done and answered all of my extra questions. The price for repairs is more than fair, no overcharging or fees that don't make sense. They were so quick about getting it done, faster than I would have assumed, it was done same day. As a woman, sometimes you worry about situations in repair places where you might be treated differently but everyone here was really incredible and any time I need anything done, I will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone else.

TLDR: Because of a deadline, the overall problem was fixed but other issues arose. Despite this, they deserve your business because given enough time they will go over and beyond to make sure your items are fixed and you have a great experience. 5/5 would go back for any electronic repairs! Back Story (if you want to know): I've owned my gaming laptop (MSI) for about 7-8 years. Of course, with any piece of technology and some good ol' wear-and-tear from consist use and deployments, it finally decided to break down, physically. The frame hinge on the left of the screen completely came undone and tore a piece of the computer screen frame off with it. I was in town for just a week visiting family before having to leave the state and decided to try to get it fixed within this time. Normally, I would've waited but I was pressed on time since there weren't any potential options to get it fixed where I was headed. After scanning reviews of local PC repairs in the area through Yelp, I came across this one. I ended up calling and spoke with Andrew and informed him of the issue. I asked if this was something that could be fixed and he said that they could but the issue would be getting the part in the amount of time. As all things transactional, I then asked him how much would everything cost and this is where my trust in this shop really escalated. Andrew mentioned that the part and the repair would cost over $380. That's a lot of money, in my opinion, for a repair job on an older model computer, but with the time constraint I figured it's well deserved if they could pull this off. However, he goes on to say that if they aren't able to get the part in, they'd wave the typical inspection fee since they weren't able to help. He could have easily withheld that information and just took the money like I'd assume most business do in these situations, but he didn't. What's more is that he didn't leave me guessing if they'd be able to fix it. He was confident in his ability as a professional to get the job done as long as he had the parts to do so. From the drop off date, I would call daily to check in to see the status of my laptop. This may have been overkill on my part but nevertheless everyone that picked up the phone as I called was patient with me and never made me feel like I was acting irrational for the continued check ins. By the middle of the week, there was still no word yet on the arrival of the part and Andrew (super cool for even suggesting this) told me they could ship the laptop to me in the event it didn't arrive on time. I decided to roll the dice on it getting there before I left. Finally, on the day prior to me leaving the state, they got the part in to fix the laptop. I was overjoyed, to say the least. This is where the hardship started to form. ** Before continuing, I want to add that these issues are more than likely due to the constraint of time and the expedient nature of the request that ultimately affected the outcome of this job. ** Once I got there to pick up the laptop, I saw Andrew working on it, still disassembled. Apparently, the part took longer than expected to install because of issues disassembling the bottom of the laptop along with other minor nuisances. I told Andrew it was no problem and told him to give me a call once it was finished. Again, don't want it to get twisted on how incredible of a guy Andrew is because he stayed open nearly 45 minutes past closing time just to finish it all. He called me letting me know I could pick up the laptop, I happily drove over to pay to for the amazing service, and went on my way thinking everything was copacetic. Unfortunately, although the frame was fixed, there were now new issues that turned the laptop to becoming almost entirely useless. Before the fix, the WiFi wiring was frayed and sticking out of the opening the broken hinge made. Despite the aesthetics, it still functioned. However, after getting the laptop back the WiFi no longer works unless directly next to the router

Had taken computer in originally to do some upgrades such as new larger HD. All seemed well for a month or so... Brought it back and had additional issues. Fixed, but only for a short time and back to the shop. Just picked it up today 1-23. Had an additional USB card installed but issue was no email access or windows applications. Told system was corrupt and needed to reinstall OS. Ok.. Got home and started having issues right away. Contacted Cox who is my ISP and spent over 1 hours with their level 2 techs and could not figure out why I can't get my email. numerous programs were missing such as Wor, Excell, Photoshop and the list goes on. Chaps my rear end I had to keep bringing it back and still does not work correctly. I'm done with them.

Fast turn around, was honest about the problem even though it was a simple fix and they could have told me anything. Turned my $1700 paperweight into an $1800 gaming PC and even did up the cable management all nice and tight.

My company has worked with PC Repair center for many years. They have diagnosed and repaired many problems quickly and efficiently. They rebuilt 2 gamer computers and am still using them They built a new hi-performance graphics machine that is killer. They have helped us multiple times with remote sessions. They are knowledgeable, professional with fast turnaround. They are straight shooters. You won't go wrong. Their team is terrific.

Had a PC upgrade project that was a little above my head, so I brought it to PC Repair Center. I'm glad I did, because it took a few changes of plans to get where I wanted to end up, Andrew and the staff were very good at communicating through each change. The day I came to pick up my upgraded PC was a day after I had minor surgery, and they even carried the PC to the car for me!I've used them before for repairs to our office computers, but this time they really went above and beyond. Thanks a lot guys! I was already a return customer but you've got a customer for life.

I have come to the PC Repair Center several times in the past few years. Not having your computer work is so challenging and the guys at PC Repair Center have saved the day every time! Even easy things like my reason for going in yesterday. My computer had been freaking out intermittently (the worst!) as though someone else was controlling it with windows popping up, things moving, and just bouncing from one thing to the next. I thought it was a virus and so went in to get them to clean things up. But, Andrew was 99% certain is was my touchscreen. He helped explain my options for servicing or said he could just turn off the touchscreen and my problems would likely end. So, that's what we did! No charge! The peace of mind and simple solution were great! Every time I've gone, they take care of things! I highly recommend!

These guys are pillars of exceptional professionalism. Knew what they were talking, gave me the comfort of being able of doing things on my own, answered every question and just have good vibes and are overall great people. No matter the distance, but especially if youre lucky enough to have a problem and theyre in the immediate area; these guys cannot only figure what your problem is in less than an hour but can probably fix it all in that hour. If i could give these guys anything higher than 5 measly stars i would but the 5 star'll do. Thanks Richard and Drew!

The Oceanside tech team are an amazing crew! I'm posting this for all baby boomers as well as others who did not grow up with computers and who do not know the savvy fixes for finding data that all of a sudden disappears from your screen. These guys are sharp, courteous, and will, on the spot, save you from hours, if not days, of distress. Their services are understated in a world that moves so fast. When one slightest computer flaw or smart phone error can bring everything in our world to a screeching halt, these guys are like immediate CPR. And for the more severe cases of computer blow out, knowing these guys exist, is huge peace of mind . Thank you Andrew!

Highly recommend! Knowledgeable guys in the store, can diagnose your PC's problems and not charge you an arm and a leg to fix the damn thing, and great people that work here as well I wouldn't take my PC anywhere else to be worked on!
