My daughters had never been surfing before and had a lesson today from Cruz and Gonzo. The girls had a blast and were able to actually surf! They got up several times, caught many waves and had the best time. We highly recommend Cruz and Gonzo from Oceanside Surf School! Easy to book, find, and pay for. Thanks so much!

Great experience! I would highly recommend Oceanside surf school to everyone!! It was super convenient, easy to learn and the instructors were great!!
I would especially recommend Oceanside surf school to anyone staying at the seabird resort as it’s within walking distance!

OMG!!
This was the best surf lesson. EVER. Barry is a great instructor.He broke the process of getting up, down and used every opportunity to teach and provide tips to make it easier! I had the absolutely best time and I'm looking forward to my next lesson to improve on my new found hobby!!

We had the most incredible experience surfing with Oceanside Surf School’s Matthew Berry!!! He was such a fun, knowledgeable, and patient instructor. It was the most fun I’ve had in a long time. Definitely recommend! ☺️

I wasn’t sure what to expect with my first surf lesson and so glad I found Matthew and his incredible team at Oceanside surf School. Matthew is a knowledgeable, helpful, kind, and passionate instructor. He made sure we learned the fundamentals, we’re able to stand up on a wave, and had a great time. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for surf lessons near Oceanside. Will see you next year!

My family and I have taken several lessons here and could not have asked for a better experience! All staff members are professional and so patient. They answered all of our questions and gave solid advice and instructions. 10/10 recommend!

Our ladies Jiu-Jitsu group was in Oceanside for a few days and decided to give surfing a try! We are SO glad we did! Everyone at Oceanside Surf School was genuinely excited to help out in any way they could.After getting us suited up, they explained basic terms, parts of the board, and how to pop up and stand on the board. Once in the water, they helped us each catch some waves while keeping things safe and playful.I really enjoyed the short breath before getting in the water to take it all in. It helped calm our nerves and really feel the moment.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was a total beginner and took a 90-minute 8 am lesson with Cruz. The school was flexible enough to start earlier than their times posted on the web (they advertised starting at 9 am). Cruz was awesome, detailed and attentive, providing encouragement and actionable feedback on balance, wave structure and different styles. The 90 minutes flew by and I would certainly take another lesson with Oceanside Surf School and Cruz again.

One of the best times I’ve had in my 27 years on this earth was being taught how to surf from these guys i was taught by luke he was amazing caught a few waves first time surfing cuz of him.

My 11 year old granddaughter had the most amazing experience . Cruz was awesome. I would recommend them every day. She stood 22 times on the board.He was so patient with her which helped her gain confidence.
