I just had 3 rings resized here. Two rings came out great, the third, which wouldn't even fit on my wife's hand. When I called back, they told me I choose that size, and they wanted an additional $200 to resize the ring to the correct size. Poor customer service. The man was trying to convince me that I chose that size, when he clearly wrote down the wrong size, I just wanted it fixed. Not sure who would size a ring to a size they can't wear. The other two rings came out ok.

I have been going to Oceanside Jewelers for many years for repairs on my rings and other jewelry needs. Recently, I went through my old gold jewelry and some items that I accumulated from various relatives and had quite a pile. Matt at Oceanside Jewelers surprised me with a quote for how much I would get for the gold. I wanted some earrings, but unfortunately, Oceanside didn't have exactly what I wanted. He suggested I try their sister store, Gems of La Costa. Rhonda at Gems of La Costa was very approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable. Even though I didn't see what I was looking for, she understood my needs completely and found the perfect earrings. With the holiday coupon and my gold trade-in, I walked out of there sparkling in my new earrings, having paid much less than I expected to get exactly what I wanted. Thanks to Matt for suggesting I visit the larger store and thanks to Rhonda for being such a good listener and knowing her stock so well. I will soon pay another visit to Oceanside Jewelers for a repair on an old sapphire ring. It's nice to know I can always count on them to do a great job for a reasonable price.

Love this jeweler! They've worked on a few pieces of my jewelry and are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I also enjoy coming to peruse their new inventory - they have some wonderful little treasures.

I rarely write reviews, but I am thrilled with the service I received this week from Matt at Oceanside Jewelers. Matt was able to find me exactly what I wanted at a fraction of the cost of most retail jewelry shops. He is laid back, super knowledgeable and patient, the most patient person I’ve ever met. (I will add that I am not comfortable in most shops because of high pressure sales staff who are not jewelers and know very little about the jewelry they are selling.) I buy at Oceanside Jewelers because Matt is there to answer questions and show me items without trying to push sales. In addition, Oceanside Jewelers pays full value on gold! I have never found that offer elsewhere. I visited the shop recently to trade in my old, dated, and mostly broken pieces of gold jewelry for some new earrings and gently used rings in excellent condition that looked positively new. I am not wealthy, and am on a tight budget. I now own the gorgeous, high-quality diamond stud earrings I have wanted for 3 decades and chic, updated wedding rings. I could not be happier with my purchases. When you are at the beach, drop into the shop across the street from the main Oceanside library and have a look for yourself. My 16 year-old son came with me and he said it best: “You traded in junk for some very cool jewelry.” Yes, I did! Thank you, Matt. You are the best!

Took it my original wedding ring from 1978 to change into a necklace. I was quickly greeted and taken care of. GIA certified and professional they quickly put together my vision. I also brought in an antique ring with a damaged pearl for replacement. Two weeks later I picked up my completed order. I couldn't be happier! I can walk to the store and I love supporting local. They have a lovely selection of previously owned pieces with excellent prices. I recommend you try them for all your repairs and designs.

Very awkward store and the jeweler Matt was pretty rude. I called ahead stating what I was coming in for and if they had time and after driving out he barely looked up or at my jewelry. Don't waste your time

I HIGHLY recommend Oceanside Jewelers. The owner Chad is a great, trustworthy guy and is a true craftsman. He does beautiful, quality custom work and is affordable for the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that his team provides to his loyal clients. I had my custom engagement ring built from scratch there and it turned out amazing. We also bought and had our wedding bands engraved there as well, and we couldn't be happier!
