We had an amazing experience. Not only did they arrange for a shuttle there and back but JB our instructor was outstanding. I had my 3 kids do lessons, and my one son is autisitic, JB was patient, kind and FUN! He had my daughter doing tricks by the end of the session. They can’t wait to go again. I would recommend this surfing company 5/5 stars! Can’t wait to return and get some more lessons! Great company, great customer service, great professionalism. Thank you for an amazing Mother’s Day! ?✌?

We cannot say enough great things about our experience. From the early communication, which ensured all of the right gear was waiting for us, to the instruction tailored to skill level, to raising that bar—this is the surf instruction to get! The best example was our 9 year old went from the beach to varsity waves in the first lesson—the beach selected had waves for novice through expert and our son got to experience all of it thanks to their instruction!!

Wonderful first time surfing experience with Noah. I conquered my fear of the ocean and surfed simultaneously, standing on the board several times by the end of the lesson. Noah was calm, patient and provided helpful tips to set my foundation on the board. I’m looking forward to surfing on future vacations with my family now that I know the basics and feel confident getting out there!

Fantastic experience. Had my two boys ages 7 and 5 have a lesson with Noah who was attentive and informative.
Great service from initial contact to the end from Duran. Made the whole experience easy.
Next time we surf in O-side we are coming back here!

We had a family surfing session with Duran (Mom, Dad and 5y). Worked out very well. He took time for each of us and managed that each of us caught some waves. Great experience, we felt safe and professionally guided. We directly booked again

Our family booked two days of lessons and had a great experience! Everyone who didn’t join-in has major regrets - I guess we will have to visit Oceanside again for another round of surf lessons with North County Surf Academy.

Such a great experience! My son and I took a lesson with Duran - he was an awesome teacher and met our lesson needs perfectly at our level. He was also very helpful and accommodating with our rental afterwards. We had a great family day surfing thanks to him! ?

Family surf lessons with Duran and JB were a highlight of our vacation! They were both SO good with me, my husband and our three kids, ages 5, 7, and 9 who have varying degrees of comfort in the water. The instructors made everything so easy and fun for our whole family. The water was shallow enough for everyone to stand up and the beach was not crowded. We had plenty of time and space to enjoy every minute of our time surfing and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!
