I can’t begin to express the feelings of appreciation and gratitude that I have for not only the The Center itself but the people who make it amazing and safe experience for those of us who did not know this kind of support was available. From the time I walked into the door Jerri and her family were the most inviting upon arrival. I was referred by a friend and was very fortunate to get the opportunity to women with Nani. From the moment I sat down and spoke with her she saw in me the motivation I was always looking for. She surprises me every moment I have the opportunity to work with her and I can’t put her in a pedestal high enough. I thank them and appreciate what they do.

I am honestly very pleased with the time that I've had with the LGBT center so far and I'm excited for life together with the LGBT center they've helped me grow my confidence remind me that I am loved somewhere and really helped me in my partner in one of the worst situations that we've been in they are open to listen and will change your life they will turn everything into a pot of gold for you if you're willing to listen and learn and be open with yourself and your feelings 10 out of 10 would recommend

When my friend and I moved from Houston to Oceanside, we had no idea how much Nani, Lisa, Jerri, and Max were going to change our lives. Not only did they guide us through this difficult time of homelessness by giving us food, shelter, and a little bit of cash for my medication, laundry, and bus passes, they treated us with love and respect that I had never experienced in the fifteen years I lived Texas. If struggling with homelessness and mental illness has left you feeling as hopeless and lonely as I was, Nani is absolutely more than capable of using her many resources to support you and bring peace and joy into your life again. I thank everyone at North County LGBTQ Resource Center. I’ll always love them and will never forget their kindness. Makes me believe in there is hope for humanity, because I now believe there is hope for me.

After my husband died I went to the center and talked to the receptionist, The mental health professional and others. who were all very kind. I filled out some paper work. and was told that a couple of people would be in contact. I never heard from anyone Now a year has passed and I am beginning to function again. I will try to make contact again. But I sure could have used some help

Nani H. is my case manager and goes well and beyond all my expectations. She is kind and very professional also. While she is fairly new at LGBTQ Resource Center she has it all in control. Thanks to her and the staff for all of the help and the receptive professional kindness that they have shown me. It made me feel that in the near future I can do the same for others.Steven Figueroa?

I stopped in to the center today to see what they had to offer. This is definitely a lesbian only organization. as far as some social events and to possibly do some volunteering and to just see about what they were about. Bad Idea I guess and was told to have a seat and wait until she had time as she said that she needed to talk to another person. I was ignored and left sitting in the lobby as she took the other woman to meet everyone in the office and was ignored so I just got up and left after 20 minutes..Really badly run place. I am sure they are trying to do some good things but it will be very difficult to accomplish that goal with the wrong people and no real vision. This is definitely a Lesbian friendly center and not so much a welcoming place for anyone else

This is the only LGBT center in North County San Diego. This place used to be location on Coast Highway, right near the beach, but now its located more inland and I think this was a bad idea. I used to go all the time and now I have only been to this location a few times because it's not really near anything else I want to visit, and there is no parking here ever....I used to be able to ride the Sprinter (train) to oceanside and walk over here, but now I have to drive a car over, only to find no parking. I also feel I was not welcomed here. I had staff be rude to me last time I was here and I haven't been back since. I asked a question wanting to learn and they told me I should Google it. Okay yeah, I did, but it's different to talk with people in person and it doesn't need to be said in a harsh way. I feel very let down by this center and by my own community. I don't feel like this is a safe space for everyone. One plus side to this location is that it is closer to Benno's (resource center for people who dont have a home), so maybe more houseless LGBT folks have access because it's a closer walking distance. I can definitely appreciate that!

I have been working with them since 2018. They have gone above and behind to help and be a support system for my family. I cannot thank Max D and Maria A enough for all of their help and hard work! Thank you for all you do!! Truly!!! You’re changing lives.

The center is not only supporting the LGBTQ+ community and their friends and families , it is steadily transforming the wider community through civic engagement, education, advocacy, and just a downright uplifting and embracing presence.

I have been coming to this location for some time now and I've been absolutely enjoying it, if I wasn't so busy I would be here all the time! All the management has always been warm, welcoming, and friendly, as well as the newcomers of staff! Great place for networking as well as an absolutely amazing front desk team, Leea and Jeri!! Thank you to this center

Not warm and welcoming. But if you have something they need or want, well you're their best friend. There used to be an NGO in North County called Being Alive run by a gentleman named Dennis Finnell. The management of this place could learn a thing or two from how BA was run. At least they have "support groups" for what they're worth. Beware the facilitators are more interested in what you can do for them than what they can do for you.
