DISCLAIMER: I had my car serviced here almost a year ago so the experience you'll have now may be different.
TLDR: these guys destroyed my valve covers (~$300 new pair) and they didn't properly torque my sparkplugs and left them hand tight (read up on what loose spark plugs can do)
I had my mustang serviced last year for a basic diagnostic check due to vibrations I felt under acceleration and an electrical problem. The electrical problem was solved and was told the vibrations felt under acceleration were due to the battery terminals having a faulty connection. (I found out later that this whole issue was actually from wheel hop which at the time I didn't know was a thing and apparently the techs didn't know either)
The diagnostic check revealed to me that I needed several components replaced including spark plugs (foreshadowing). They were somewhat pushy on me getting this service done (~$6k after parts and labor) and in the end I declined to have my car worked on since I was going to be out of country for the following months.
Fast forward to the present and I decided to take on a timing job for the car. To do this job I needed to remove the ignition coils "so might as well replace the spark plugs too" I thought. Upon accessing the coils I discovered that they torqued my coils so tight to my valve covers that they were both cracked and unusable, $300 for a new pair. Getting to the spark plugs I discovered they were so loose that I could break them free easily with my hand. I'm guessing they were banking on the fact that'd actually get my car serviced that they didn't bother to properly torque the plugs since they'd get replaced. Or very likely they were just negligent which is backed by the fact that they damaged my valve covers and didn't bother to tell me.
I'd steer clear from here.

THESE GUYS KNOW THERE STUFF and Make is awesome and is a great person and they car about the car!!! I had my mini in there and not everyone can fix that car!!!! and they did yes it cost me but again willing to pay if what they do actually works and works good!!!!! not just for a min or two... I had a nice talk with mike and you can see his passion to get your ride fixed right not fast or to make it to the next light but instead to work forever.... I just put my truck in there and again great work yes it is expensive but again you get what you pay for and in a car you want to last forever, they make it a point to look at all things and come back and fix what u can afford... Go here cause mike actually cares about your car truck suv...

These people are skilled and honest. Our 2016 Prius was having a problem with a water pump. The dealer was quoting us an intimidating amount of money, and said we needed the brakes done. North County Auto Service found a discrepancy both in the price of the repair but also in the measurement of my brakes. They saved us more than half the dealer's quote. Thank you!

We are relatively new residents to Oceanside. Just finished a cross country journey with one vehicle and it was in need of service. Our other vehicle that we leave here for vacation purposes also required service. We were referred to North County and are quite pleased now that both vehicles are back in shape. We were appointed in a reasonable amount of time and the work required took exactly the amount of time as promised. Everything was explained concisely and we were given good advice. Relieved we have found a place we can rely on and trust for our future automotive needs

I grew up and worked in my families automtive business for many many years. Because of this I have dealt with many automotive businesses in my time. So you can fully believe me when I say this one is TOP NOTCH!!!
I don't always let on that I am automtive savy and since I am a female, it tends to be easy to see who is truthful or not. Mike and the gentlemen at N.C Auto are very honest, competent, caring and kind!! The cost of repairs is always spot on, not over priced at all!! I fully trust my vehicles, and highly recommend them!! My family and friends wouldn't go anywhere else!
