Even though I wasn't able to sign up for a new account I still wanted to write this review for one reason. It looked like they haven't had any luck on reviews in the past. I came in not knowing what to expect. The sweet lady in the front who greets the guests and show them the appropriate location for their needs. When it was my turn, I found out I wasn't qualified to join and gave me the reasons why. She suggested alternatives for me to check other banks closer to the area. She didn't have to do this. She even recommended a few places for me to check out. I really wished I've gotten her name. She went over and beyond her duties.

3rd time the person sitting in front is very lazy and refuses to give the cashier check I ordered the purpose for this person is to retrieve the money orders quicker than us standing in a long line. The persons name is Liz while standing in line, you can see her screen and she just rolling up and down not doing anything on the Navy Federal credit Union website it’s not a black screen so you can see everything she’s doing calling the general manager to complain on this branch again

If I could write a no star I would. The ladies behind the counter knew little to nothing about how to set up a transaction report. Even when explained with the entirety of the situation with a payment (which was our fault entirely as the bank had nothing to do with this) they claimed there was nothing they could do about the money being sent to a third party. On top of that they had sent us to a different bank to see if we could resolve it with a Wells Fargo as the money we had sent went to an account with a Wells Fargo. Came back to this navy fed to tell them it was a problem with navy fed and got told to handle it by making a claim with the FBI(this whole reason was due to a scam) went to another location by my house yesterday and made the exact same comment about what happened. Just saw today my money was in my account the day after. This locations staff needs to figure out what is going on and not playing the "go handle it elsewhere" deal. I love navy fed and don't have any problems with them usually so this is the first time I've ever written about them and had a problem. Overall -10 out of 10 on at least the one woman behind the counter and a few of her co workers not knowing what's going on.

I’m sorry but, how on earth is this bank mainly for Armed Forces but the banks close 30 minutes after 50% of us are released from work??? I don’t get it. Literally the most INCONVENIENT hours of business.

Poor service. Tried to close a trust account and got a huge run around. Took 45 minutes at Wells Fargo to close a trust account and months at Navy Federal.

Get off work and come in time to deposit a check before the bank closed, get in line and finally make it up to deposit my check...then they tell me I won't get the full amount for a day or two?? That's not right. Fix it. If I wanted to wait I would have just sent a picture in app or dropped at ATM. :-(

If you want to know what a moron I am, read this. I wrote a sizable check to a contractor. The check was declined although I had about ten times more than the check amount in my accounts. Reason given to the check recipient: account was closed. What? I can rectify this if I take time from work to bounce around their call centers in who knows what countries or.... I can go to a branch and explain for the umpteenth time what the issue is. Or I can withdraw the cash to pay the contractor with whom I am now past due. Now I want to introduce myself to you. I'm a moron. I'm such a moron that I could teach a master class on how to foster and grown your inner moron. I wrote a check on an account that hasn't existed for about ten years. I can only forgive myself because the check design is the same between the current and old account. That and the fact that I don't write checks anymore. Sorry Navy Federal.
