As of 2/2/24, you can get $200 if you sign up with a direct deposit & meet their other requirements. I printed the promo and brought it with me. I didn't have an appt so I had to wait a bit. James Lewis was very friendly, knowledgable, and answered all my questions. By the time I left, I had my new debit card. I also downloaded the app as I waited in the bank. So far, so good! Also, I did not realize that they were formerly called Pacific Marine Credit Union. You don't have to be in the military to open an account and this branch location is accessible to everyone. It's huge and clean and nearby Kaiser Permanente off of Old Grove.”

It looked like they haven't had any luck on reviews in the past. I came in not knowing what to expect. The sweet lady in the front who greets the guests and show them the appropriate location for their needs. When it was my turn, I found out I wasn't qualified to join and gave me the reasons why. She suggested alternatives for me to check other banks closer to the area. She didn't have to do this. She even recommended a few places for me to check out. I really wished I've gotten her name. She went over and beyond her duties.”

3485 Marron Rd, Oceanside“This place gave me a chance when the bank I've been with since I was 6 (Chase, which was Wamu, which was Great Western) wouldn't help me get a car loan. For my second loan in 2021, not only was I pre-approved, my rate was around 2%. At that time, I didn't have two big dogs to zip around town, and I chose a little car. I have been wanting an SUV or truck for them, and the heavy rains we've had lately made the desire more urgent. I had a lot of business to take care of when I checked in; it just so happens the employee managing the front desk would also be my loan officer, online account un-locker, and new account opener for my fiancé. Paola was great! She explained exactly what I needed to do when I got to the car lots, and even gave me KBB info on the car I was trading in. While she warned me I'd have to wait on getting a check cut, I actually left with one as I was still pre-approved. There was a sense of empowerment I felt when car shopping with a check and all the information she gave me. I am forever going to be loyal to this business for any loan I'll want to open. I do have two accounts and a credit card that I honestly don't use (navigating the website to move money around was a pain but Paola informed me the format is changing soon). Pros: - customer service! - 50$ referral for bringing in new customers - straightforward loan services - Cons: - unlocking accounts is difficult - security alerts would block me from using my debit card... how embarrassing”

“I've been with Mission for a long time time. I do like how easy it is to come in and get my stuff done. They don't offer coffee anymore but I'm assuming because of covid. Last time I came in, there were so many people in line and not enough tellers, only 2. You need to hire more people. Other than that, good bank.”

“Security doors with green/red signals. Wait for entry door to close then the green light will come on for the next door. All the union bank account numbers changed when they switch from Union Bank to US Bank but the Union Bank checks will be good for the rest of 2023. US Bank has a very good safety score and has good money market rates only if you have over 25,000.”

“I want to give a HUGE Thank You to Caroline for helping my wife and I. Unfortunately, we were scammed by buying puppies online, we were promised 2 baby Yorkie puppies to arrive at our doorstep through a “dog delivery agency” it was very disappointing and even embarrassing when we were describing our situation to Caroline, but she did not judge or hesitate to help us file a claim, she listened to us and took so much of her time to do anything and everything in her power to help us. “I was originally super frustrated because my debit card was blocked without any notice however when I called Carolyn picked up and was SO helpful.She explained the situation to me and had my card back up & running within minutes!This is my favorite bank (and branch) and I’m happy to overlook the little issues because of the awesome staff.”

She was under a lot of pressure for a very busy Saturday but she kept her cool and her promise to call me Monday when she had an answer for me and I appreciate her work ethic especially when other customers waiting in line were not as patient. I understand that there is a shortage of workers right now so if you see a long line or are waiting a little longer for your food or any other service, be patient! These wonderful people deserve your appreciation for coming to work for YOU! You have choices.. You have a cell phone, play a game or answer some emails or come back later or earlier the next day. Our cellphones literally tells us when the busiest times are to patron any establishment.”

“Super convenient to the downtown and the farmer's market! I popped in here to pick up some cash for the farmer's market. Pleasantly surprised by its proximity and its walkability to everything. There were, I believe, four ATMs outside. One was out of order, but the other three were fully functional. Decent parking. 2022: 6/100”
“So I have been a Chase customer for 10 years. A couple months ago I was obtaining bids for prequalifying for a home mortgage and decided to venture into the newly opened branch at 1040 Mission Avenue in Oceanside one Saturday right after deciding to make an offer on a coastal fixer upper home. Lauren was working and I feel I was destined to be assisted by her. Lauren gave me all the information I needed to get started and referred me to Evan Lutz. Evan quoted me on a great rate a couple days later and I finished getting all my bids. Then, the sellers started playing hardball. About a week passed and I contacted my three mortgage bids again and not surprisingly, the market had changed not in my favor. Evan, however, got me the same rate approved from the week before saving me thousands of dollars a year. The demanding sellers required a 21-day close and Evan assured me he was up for the task and told me Chase even guaranteed it! Every time I came to the branch to drop something off or make a payment, Lauren happened to be there at the office, greeted me by name and made me feel like family. Needless to say, the home closed in 21 days when we were celebrating our birthdays on the East Coast. Evan and his team pulled off this feat with very little assistance from me and without projecting any stress. This type of professionalism and commitment to the highest level of customer's satisfaction has to be acknowledged. Having in mind such a pleasant experience with your team it would be my pleasure to recommend Chase to all of my friends and family who are purchasing homes.”
