I ordered $87.00 worth of food. I ordered a large container of Lechon, large container of Pancit, large container of rice, some lumpia, three containers of Pinakbet, and some fresh vegetables and calamansi. Everything was so fresh and so amazing. ( I did wait 15 mins for the 1.5 lbs of fresh Lechon). Being from Hawaii, I have really missed this kind of mom and pop Filipino Restaurant/ Market. They also have all the Hawaiian Sun drinks I grew up with in Hawaii. I have been here three times and it is always excellent. It is worth the drive. I use to drive to Mira mesa and I won't, never again. (I have also tried the place in San Marcos and the food tastes like it has sat out all day and it was over priced and they have small portions).

Mission Asian Market is my go to place to get some essential Asian groceries as well as getting a quick bite to eat. The service is quick and the food is delicious.

The food is mediocre at best, and the hours are not consistent. I just went in on a Tuesday @ 2:45 and they close at 5 but there's no food. And that's not he fist time that's happened. I don't know if it's because they want to close early and don't have an enough product but either way don't have a business if you can't be consistent.

No reason to drive to National City for good quality Filipino food. Good quality and quantity of the usual Filipino classics. It gets busy at lunchtime, so be patient. A few tables are available and seats about 10 people (total). We'll be back!

Great market. Great food cooked daily. You must get there before the military lunch crowd for best selection!

OK selection. Mostly products from and for the Philippines.A bit expensive compared to 88 or 99 Ranch stores, but more specific.

Great food! Closest to home cooking. Variety of snacks and desserts.... Reasonable prices. Be sure to give them a try...!

Some of their dishes were good, some aren't. A bit expensive, small portions. I gave them four stars for fast service and for the good taste on the food that we bought.

I can't believe I've lived in Oceanside for seven years now and have never known that we had a market that served such delicious homemade and authentic Filipino foods until now. Seriously. We recently had some pancit from a Pinoy-owned food truck at Belching Beaver's Oceanside tap room and I forgot how good it was, and I've been wanting some more ever since. We just got some lumpia from Costco and I needed to find some pancit to serve with it and here I found Mission Asian Market. They had a variety of various foods, hot and ready and we got a few to try:● Pancit● Sisig● Chicken Adobo● Lechon (with sauce)I ordered a full to-go container of the pancit (so, not the half-rice, half-pancit. I did all pancit as the sides and main) and they gave me a ton of food. This will feed a family of four easily, with leftovers. Note this pancit is loaded with veggies and meat. It's a full meal by itself.Everything tasted so good. The sisig was full of flavor and a tiny bit spicy, but we loved it. The chicken adobo with onions was so good, but the lechon blew us away. We actually waited while they prepared some fresh lechon for us and by itself, it's great - kinda like fried pork belly. But with the sauce it's just over the top!Altogether, the total was $48.17 - which is not outrageous for the amount of food we got. And they gave us more lechon than could fit into the container cup, so instead of a lid they used aluminum foil (thank you!).I really wanted to try the Kare-Kare, but apparently they only make that on the weekends. I also saw some pics of garlic rice, but they didn't have any of that either. From what I understand, they open very early and often sell out of food. They also close early at 5pm (I believe) so you gotta get there early if you want to try any of this tasty food.

Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place yet. We buy food here whenever we're too lazy to cook. Everything is good but these are our favorites: Tocino, Sisig, Kaldereta, Menudo, Sinigang, Bistek, Bangus Relleno, Monggo, Lechon Kawali, and special shoutout to their Spaghetti, it is a legit Filipino-style spaghetti and we love it! We also buy frozen lumpia here and just deep-fry it at home. So yummy! Only let down for me is that Pancit is a little bland. This is not a fancy place but it gets the job done. The people working here are nice. There is a mini-grocery as well that has Filipino products and goodies. 5/5 recommend.
