I am so happy with the custom work that Matel did for my new set of braids! I am having surgery on my left hand and arm next week, so I needed a style that would be easier for maintenance. Matel was creative enough to blend the colors, including some to match the gray of my own hair. I highly recommend Matel for anyone looking for creative, braid styles!

My daughters hair and mine look amazing! I braid my own hair, and for the 1st time ever, I trusted someone else to do my hair!!! I am glad I did!! She did an amazing job and I would definitely comeback!

wow! wow!!!omgosh....i just had to express how happy i was after seeing the finished product of my braids...matel is the best....i was left in awe after looking at my hair...she did an awesome job....i was indeed surprised by the amount of time it took her...she was amazingly fast...i got singles an it took approximately 3-4 hours my whole head...it was not just about the time, it was the work she did..it's obviously she cares about her work, and mostly pleaseing her clients...i am sold out. can not express my true gradtitude, and appreciation...i definitely recommend her to any and everyone...i received so many compliments..it felt great...thanks matel, will see you very soon.....

I've been going to Ms. Matel for months now. She's done my cornrows, braids, and now, my locs. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for quality, honesty, and overall a great experience. She's fun to converse with and is always smiling/laughing along with me. One thing I would love to note is how straight-forward she is with clients on what day/times work or not. I've also heard her happily refer other clients to her business associates who do certain things that she does not. Overall, Ms. Matel is fantastic. Get your hair done with her!

Love my hair !!!! Matel is amazing !!!! she literally did a better job than the picture I showed her. She treated my natural hair with a lot of care. I did knotless box braids with curls. You do have to get your own hair but she was very good at telling me which hair I should get and where I would be able to get it. I highly recommend her !!!Service: Box Braids

Matel is very professional and friendly! I got medium box braids with rainbow hair. It took about 6 hours (8am-3pm). It was fun to chat with her as she was braoding my hair. I feel gorgeous!
