Shame on Lowe's for not caring about customers, their needs and their time
Lowe's in Oceanside never answers their phones and only cares about how much profit they bring in with zero regard for customers.
I placed an order on July 2nd for $337 worth of fence materials with a delivery date of July 4th between 8 AM to 12 PM but the date was changed late last night to July 6th which does not work when the fence repairs were planned for July 4th
I wanted to cancel the order because I couldn't change the shipping address for an online order so I tried calling Lowe's in Oceanside for assistance on July 2nd but no one was answering the phone.
I called Lowe's corporate number in North Carolina to cancel the order because of the Oceanside store not answering their phone.
The agent couldn't change the address so they cancelled the order and created a new order with the correct address with a July 4th delivery date. On July 3rd I received a text with the July 4th shipping date but this morning I received an update that my order would not be delivered until Saturday July 6th.
I cancelled the order because of the lack of communication from the Oceanside location and I was expecting the order today for a project that I wanted to complete.
Lowe's is no different than any other corporation which prioritizes short-term financial gain over customer loyalty. They have no respect for the customers or their time.
I was told your store did not have the staff and it's store manager's responsibility to be aware of staff schedules.
Communication between Lowe's in Oceanside and customer service is lacking, analogous to one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing but at the expense of customers.
Lowe's needs to improve their communication and a good place to start is answering their phone and the corporation should not make commitments they cannot keep.
Customers should not have to pay for incompetence. I plan to let my contractors and purchasing know that your company cannot be depended on.
I got a better deal for the materials I needed from your competitor for $190 and didn't mind delivering it myself (see picture below).
Lowe's is sending an alert that the shipment (that was moved to July 6th is arriving today). Complete incompetence and poor communication.

I had to get the manager to make keys for me to resolve a situation that the employee had made. The manager was apologetic and made the keys complimentary. I give only 2 stars ? for the manager rectifying the situation.

Two US flags out front tangled up in plants for sale. This is against the law that governs the Flag. See attached pics . Have talked w/numerous Mgrs. and it still happens. This store is in a military town. Shame on you.
Lines were long and only 2 registers open.
Check out how Home Depot displays their flags!!!

What took two minutes to fix, took 45 minutes to address! The female manager Rosa must have been occupied or very disrespectful!! After several pages a gentleman manager responded, then a female took over and between the three of the employees I revived my refund on my credit card, yet never received an apology for their negligence? An hour later I was finally on my way home. As overstaffed as they are it’s a shame that the management can’t lead by example?

Can't find return things on credit card used.and won't give store credit.
Went to Home depot ,found things are less expensive and will give military discount...Lowes lost another customer ..

I went here for a bolt and washer for my old washing machine. Danny was super helpful finding the right metric bolt and washer for my project. He was knowledgeable and friendly really taking the time to help me, the customer. This store is bright and clean and has plenty of parking. They have a good selection of equipment and tools you need for work or around the home. I recommend this hardware store.

Lowes has a wider selection of most items than the other hone improvement store. Lowes is just about 10% higher in prices, but most items are worth it.

If your looking for an appliance - go to Lowe's and see BRENT. He is very very kind and helpful. Call before you go and see if he's working ........it's worth it becuz the rest of that group are not good!!
