Beware : I found employees cell phone at store and person at return desk didn't accept it. So I waited for owner to contact me. He called 4 times but I was driving.Instead of trying he showed up my house with two cops. I wrote the store manager and tried several times to contact regarding the incident but have got no reply, So much for customer care.Truly disappointed and I have Pro account with them and thinking of switching back to Home Depot.

If you must shop at Lowe's Home Improvement, avoid this store. There are not enough employees working at this store. If you go in the evening, it's even harder to find help, good luck. This store is totally understaffed, short-handed, and undermanned. We went shopping for new home appliances. We waited at least 15 minutes before an employee was located for the appliances department. During this time, we watched an employee "work" and avoid us at all costs. The employee sent to assist was unfamiliar with appliances and actually worked in a very different department. A manager was sent to assist us, he was even less familiar. Ultimately, the five different appliances we wanted to purchase weren't even available in the advertised colors. Incredibly deceiving. The prices are nearly the same at Lowe's and Home Depot, so I will take my business back to Home Depot.

I was so unhappy with the experience of shopping at Lowes that I closed by credit card account. So Lowes held onto a check for 11 days and then tried to charge me $47 in bogus fees. It took two hours to get someone to back out the charges. In the process, the Lowes representative told me to take my business to Home Depot. So Lowes, you lost a customer.

Absolute worst customer experience. Nobody at this store cares about the customer, knows where to find anything in the store, and the staff is just flat out lazy. don't go here expecting to find staff members willing to help. it's like they are hiding and just collecting a check. there was one staff member who told me they have a skeleton of a staff that's why service is bad but that's bull. the people there really just suck. you can get better service at a fast food place.

Bad customer service experience ever !!!! Rude and unprofessional service. I am planning to buy vinyl fence at Lowe's and have them for installation . This was the first time I tried to have Lowe's service for our home improvement. I called the Lowe's in Oceanside to be scheduled for an estimate for our fence project at their phone # at 760-966-7140 , last Friday 12/22/2023 . The agent took all my info ( name, phone #, home address and email address) stating that she was unable to schedule so I have to give out my info to be in the system then waiting for someone who would reach out to be for a date and time to come to my house for an estimate . No phone call have been received I called the Lowe's store followings up with the status the agent told me waiting for her to check on the order and after a few mins, telling me my info was never in their system. I requested to speak to a supervisor . After another few mins, a female voice picked up the call , did not introduce her position then went a head asking my info. I had to ask "who are you", then she told me she is a Lowes manager, requested to have my info again to put into the system , told me I have to wait for another 24-48 hours to hear back from other /third party. I was so mad as I was not sure if the issue would be happened then I will be waiting for nothing. I asked her how do I know ...then that ,manager hang up on me !!!!

Bad service stories # 1 & 2 - The only reason Lowe's gets away with their consistently crap service is that HD is just as awful, maybe worse and there isn't much competition. I extensively researched appliances before buying them from Lowe's, having had crap service several times in the past from this store. Every excuse in the book, like online orders - "oh, that's another company" - really? Very sad that being the customer carries no weight. If you are spending thousands of dollars with them, don't expect any consideration. If you buy an appliance online and check the box to have the old one hauled away for $50, don't be fooled by how easy that sounds. Their delivery company will find some reason NOT TO HAUL IT AWAY. This should be made clear in the shopping cart. But NO, Lowe's is happy to take your money and the hell with you. This has happened to me TWICE - once with a dishwasher and once with a stove. The delivery people are very picky about what they will disconnect. This is NOT MADE CLEAR TO THE CUSTOMER. How is the customer supposed to know all this? Who is the customer supposed to consult to find out if the delivery driver will take it or not?? So now I have two large appliances in my garage. I have to figure out how to get the stove disconnected and hauled away. And then figure out how to get the new stove from the garage into the kitchen. It's a sign of the times that this type of crap service and customer dissatisfaction is just another day at Lowe's. It's pathetic really that Lowe's and their delivery "partners" think that the customer is working for THEM, when it is my purchases that pays their salary. Hope they all lose their jobs during the next economic downturn.

Lowes is super convenient in terms of location for us. Items can be hit or miss though so I would suggest researching what you need online to see if they carry it in stock before you go. For example, we found out our exhaust fan model was not sold here despite looking similar in size and shape but actually Home Dept carried it. We've also purchased quite a bit of paint from here and this seems to be the only section where you can immediately spot an employee. My husband has purchased several small things for our home including outlets, light fixtures, and screws. They easily take returns so that is always a good thing too in case things don't work out

Great service, but they didn't have what I needed in stock, so I had to order them online. The items were pricey, but it was the exact item I was looking for.

I was in their store and a very rude Vendor from ECMD named Michael told me to move as he was pushing his cart by me - he said it twice and i said i hear you - i moved up. he then says "told you to move because I didn't want to hit your ass" - yep. direct quote. I asked "what did you say"? and he actually repeated it. So, if you want to be harassed by rude vendors for sure visit this lowes! and the sad part is most of their management did not care, neither did DeSean at ECMD- basically doubting my story and dismissing it. Hey Lowe's and ECMD - when stuff like this happens - if you don't care, just pretend that you do - and please go back to customer service class 101 - you've obviously missed a very basic skill set.

We bought a Samsung microwave /exhaust fan combo on 8-14-23. After being installed by the worst contractors ever - Pacific Express, we found out the fan did not work. Express sent out another contractor who deemed the fan unit as defective and Lowes said they would replace it. My husbands calls the customer service hotline almost daily and they said we were contacted by phone and email as the the installation date on September 1. Totally untrue. Here we are 3 weeks later with a paid for defective unit and cannot get in touch with the installer for an installation date. My husband stay on hold for 20 minutes twice today and left messages. We are at the point of having Lowes come and get this defective unit and get a total refund. I am also going to contact the California Consumer Agency and make a complaint.

After I got gas in my car at the Shell Gas Station last Friday on August 31, 2023 at 8;30 p. m. I drove to the Lowe's Home Improvement parking lot which is nearby this Shell Gas Station. Then I parked my car into their parking lot, locked my car door and then I walked towards When this plumber, his name is Turner from MasterCraft Plumbers came over to my house on Tuesday on August 31. 2023 at 9:30 a. m. On Tuesday, 8/31/23 that was my first time meeting Turner in my home. When Turner was installing this MOEN Aldler Pull-Down Faucet he told me there are already hot and cold valves located underneath the sink and he doesn't think it is necessary to replace these two hot and cold water valves. I said okay, Then Turner told me to return these 2 hot and cold water valves at my local Lowe's Home Improvement Store. I said, alright I will go to Lowe's Home Improvement Store as soon as possible. I had these 2 hot and cold water valves inside a bag and waited in the Customer Service Department line. I saw there was only one person ahead of me waiting In the Custome Service Department, It was my turn and Taylor this Lead Cashier said how can she help me today? I said I am here to return two hot and cold water valves. The price of each of these 2 hot and cold valves are $5.98 each is the $11.96 plus the 99 cents sales tax to equal the total cost of $12.95. Taylor this lead cashier, I saw she was processing my return items on these 2 Hot and Cold Water Valves. Then Taylor said she will give me a credit refund that will be applied to my new Lowe's Credit Card Account that I paid for and I have charged on the date on August 22, 2023. I received a Credit Refund in the total amount of $12.95 this included the 99 cents sales tax.

Super unhelpful. Sarah couldn't be bothered to help me figure out which door I should buy. Then she literally walked away from me. I thought Brian was going to help me--he researched and took my info. I never heard from him again, even after I emailed him twice.
