Small gift shop in downtown Oceanside, closer to the Pier. I've found the merchandise here more diverse, better quality and less tacky. Sure, you'll still find your regular cheesy souvenirs, but that's all good. The space is smaller so it makes the shopping experience a tad less overwhelming. Your regular fare: t-shirts, hoodies, home decor, mugs, magnets. Fun place to shop at, prices are a tad higher, service was pretty good.

Very cute. Hidden gem. Although the prices are high, I think the value is nice. One thing to note is that the service is very quiet.

What a fun little shop. Small and packed with a huge selection of shirts, hoodies and souvenirs imaginable. Value for dollar was better that some other shops around town. Loaded up on T shirts and hoodies. Service was with ear shot and just said yell when you are ready to check out. Small place with TONS of stuff.

This shop has a lot of unique items to choose from. We had fun looking around and the cashier we checked out was kind. We got a coupon after our second purchase, which would have been nice to receive after the first, since we don't know when we'll be back. It's in a fun location too. We'll probably be back.

such an adorable gift and souvenir shop! we came on our honeymoon and wanted to find a small gift for our family and friends. all of the surrounding gift stores were very basic and mainly had shirts and very boring/stereotypical items. Little Louie's had a wide variety to choose from and also had the cutest and funniest little knick knacks. you can tell as soon as you walk in that everything was carefully curated and handpicked. it was a great experience from the moment we walked in to the second we walked out. love the atmosphere and vibes that this small family-owned business gives off! highly recommend to check it out!

love this gift shop! we wanted to find some gifts to take back home but we weren't impressed by the surrounding gift stores. that was not the impression that we received from Little Louie's once we walked in! You can tell that every item was carefully curated and handpicked. We were looking for unique items and not the stereotypical souvenirs that we found at other stores and we were very happy with the items we found at this adorable little family-owned business. the employee was extremely helpful and sweet! definitely recommend checking this gift shop out before leaving oceanside!!

If vou are a person of color do not even bother coming inside this store. You will be treated horribly, followed around and will be asked to leave by the workers because they do not want POC in their store and their excuse is that they fell uncomfortable with POC in their space. For being in such a diverse location you would think they would stop being such racists but I guess not. I would leave zero stars if possible. Take your business elsewhere. There are plenty of cleaner shops in the area that don’t smell

Whoever is at the front desk, IS the face of your small business while they are working. It seems like there is multiple complaints about an employee's nasty attitude towards customers. At what point does the owner intervene to clean house or retrain his staff, because clearly it is still an issue. Yesterday we sent in my 15 year old brother to take a look, which last time I checked was not a crime. The employee followed him around, and asked him to leave by stating "she didn't feel safe around people like him". The microaggressions displayed by this employee leave a lot to wonder about this small business. I desperately hope that this store takes the right measures so that no other child of color experiences this treatment. DO BETTER!

I don't know if I would shop here again... last time I was here there was an altercation with an autistic kid and an employee who said they didn't feel safe around them. It honestly felt like a racial thing, the kid was minding their own business and being peaceful. I can't think of any other reason why someone would follow a customer so belligerently, other than to make them feel uncomfortable in the hopes that they would leave. Think twice about coming here, and don't take it from me, there are similar reviews that date all the way back to 2020 on here so it seems this has not only been going on for some time, but shows no promise of changing. Maybe try out some of the other gift stores in the area instead. Most have the same stuff, the others come without the hate though.
