My daughter attends both American Kenpo and Jujitsu here at Key Martial Arts. Mr and Mrs Sensai are great with children, and my daughter loves coming here

My 2 boys are currently enrolled in the Jui Jitsu program at Key Martial Arts... What separates Key Martial Arts from other Dojos is the family environment and tight knit group of students and parents. Mr. And Mrs. Sensei care about their students and promote success, good habits, respect for others and good behaviors in and out of the dojo. And it's great exercise and discipline for my boys.

I have been training her for over a year and have enjoyed every moment. The adult classes have a good combination of real world and competition style Kenpo and we have fun while working hard.

I highly recommend it, the space is clean and the whole family works together. They are awesome with kids.
It's a place to learn about respect, confidence and good practice…
My son is too much more stronger and confident since he started here.

Our kids have thrived here! They love the classes and it has been so great for both of them. Helps with their coordination and confidence. Sensei Matt is funny, while also expecting them to be disciplined.

We have been going to Key Martial Arts for way over a year. Our child has become stronger and more confident. Mr. and Mrs. Sensei are very professional and work really well with children. Our child loves going there and always practices at home, and sometimes even in the grocery store. Key martial arts is the place to go to find confidence in yourself and to get fit.

Key Martial Arts offers a unique and exciting approach to martial arts. Their program is designed to encourage children to learn martial arts skills in a positive atmosphere. My grandchildren having been attending Sensei Polack and Mrs Sensei Polack classes for some time and besides improving their physical skills, they also feel more confident. Every time I pick them up I can tell they had a great time! Check out their classes, you will be glad you did.

As a lifelong practitioner of the martial arts and as a former martial arts instructor, including to children, I give Key Martial Arts my highest recommendation. Matt has synthesized traditional martial arts, weapons-based systems, grappling, and ground fighting into an effective system, combining those with rigorous physical conditioning and character training. While firmly rooted in traditional practices, the applications have been updated to appeal to modern sensibilities, remaining engaging without losing effectiveness.Key Martial Arts is especially good for children of any age. Matt's energy and enthusiasm inspire the children. Matt adapts his approach to each child's personality, including special needs, letting each child advance at their own pace. Matt has developed a highly effective cadre of instructors, many of them teens and young adults who have grown in the dojo and learned by their sensei's example, helping to make the training fun and effective for the students. My son is on the autism spectrum and, though initially reluctant to train, he quickly fell in love with the dojo and thrived in its atmosphere. We have since moved to Texas, but he still talks about Key Martial Arts, the friends he made there, and Sensei Matt. Any time we travel through Southern California we make time to visit the dojo. Matt made a positive impact on my son that will last through his life.Key Martial Arts also supports fun events such as pizza parties, Nerf gun nights, and martial arts themed birthday parties. All of these help to build a sense of community and family among the members of the dojo.Having had the opportunity to train at Key Martial Arts myself, I know that the training is no less effective for adults. Though the games that appeal to younger children aren't used, Matt adapts to each student's unique abilities and needs. If we still lived in the area, I would be training at Key Martial Arts.I have a great deal of respect for Matt as a practitioner and instructor of the martial arts. He treats his students with respect and concern, motivating them to work hard and to become better at anything they pursue in life.

My kid loves every class. The dojo is clean, and is a positive, respectful environment. Classes and times are flexible so it never feels like we have to miss a class if there's a scheduling conflict. Classes start on time, every time. The kids classes (4-6) are like herding cats, but the older and more experienced students do a great job of helping out the younger and newer students. There is definitely an emphasis on proper technique, but not to the point where the kids don't have a great time. Dojo and etiquette rules are enforced diligently and respectfully, never harshly. Recommend.

Solid teaching and very family friendly! Sensei Matt is understanding of military schedules and offers flexible pricing options. The Mighty Ninja program is amazing and my son loved every class he was able to attend! He really enjoyed learning from the older kids who were assisting during the workouts. Just an amazing place overall and highly recommend as they have something to offer for every member of the family!

Very family friendly and accommodating on my work schedules. As a single working mom I cant just do Monday through Friday at 2pm or something along those lines. People that work 9-5 jobs would never be able to take their kids. .. I'm very Happy to have found this place for my 4yr old daughter. Love the atmosphere and structure.

I cant say enough about this Dojo!! While it started out just for my middle son, all 3 of my children now do Karate! Mr. And Mrs. Sensei are both wonderful! My 10 year old daughter has learned so many leadership skills and both my sons, 8 and 5 are better disciplined due to karate. Key Martial Arts is the best decision we made for their extra curricular activities!!

My daughter is a year into karate and she's bloomed into a more confident kid overall. The instructors here are encouraging, compassionate and fair. Great customer service, fair prices, great environment, and welcoming. My daughter loves it hear.
