I needed to find a shop to replace the fuel injectors in my diesel powered pickup truck. With this particular engine, this is a very complex, high-effort job that is difficult to perform correctly. This shop was recommended to me, and so I checked it out. My immediate reaction to this place when I looked in the shop, was that it appeared to be the cleanest, most well organized shop that I have ever seen. My background is that of being a mechanical engineer who likes to work with tools myself. That. said, they performed the job, and my immediate impression is that this engine is running better than it has had for many years. I am most impressed with this repair shop and I feel lucky to have found Jorge. He is an intense guy who very obviously pushes himself and his team to excel. Jorge is truly a mechanics mechanic !

JorgeAlonso Auto Repair is honest coz he won't replace my break pads coz it's still 60% good. This place will check most of my cars needs and will give you an honest estimate of the repairs. I will definitely recommend this Repair Shop.

Best service ever, everything is documented, explained clearly and in detail, and done in timely manner. You are notified of every step of the process. It is clear that this is a very well run business, and the woman at the front desk (so sorry I forgot your name!) is a very nice person and very thorough with the intake process. Will definitely be returning for future needs.

I’ve been to Jorge’s a few times and he is absolutely amazing! He’s honest for one, thorough and let’s you know exactly what you need. He doesn’t try to over charge you or rip you off and I just appreciate him for that so much! I’d recommend him to anyone who is looking for an honest and great mechanic! Maureen who runs the front desk is so awesome too! Easy to get a hold of and just great people over there! 10 ⭐️’s all the way!

Great local auto shop in Oceanside. Got all my brakes done for a better price than the dealership. They got all the work done within the day, but due to my scheduling they let me keep the loaner overnight without issue. Definitely recommend Jorge and his shop!

I recently had a fantastic experience with Jorge Alonso Auto Repair. I found them via Reddit, and from the start, Maureen and the front-of-house team were on point. Jorge and his team of mechanics are incredibly knowledgeable, which made me feel confident in their ability to handle my vehicle. I have an extended roof, and it's not easy to find a place to service it, but they did an excellent job. The service and repair process was seamless, with each step communicated electronically through text and email, supported by a phone conversation. I never had to follow up; everything was done proactively, which made the entire experience hassle-free. I highly recommend Jorge Alonso Auto Repair to anyone looking for reliable and efficient auto service!

I brought in my 2001 Toyota tacoma with no leaks, no check engine light on but was guzzling coolant and had no acceleration. Jorge was able to diagnose that I had a crack in the engine block which clogged my Cat converter. 2 options- new engine or sealant treatment. Got a new Cat installed over at RPMs and the sealant treatment helped solve my coolant issue. While the work on my truck was underway, Jorge Alonsos loaner car was clutch in getting me to work and home. Really appreciate the work they do over at Alonsos auto repair as Marlene at the front desk was very helpful and understanding. Would highly recommend Jorge Alonsos Auto repair and thanks for all your help getting my Tacoma back on the road again.
