I'm surprised how anyone can find any fabric they are looking for here.
No labels, random fabrics everywhere.
I even had a screenshot of the exact fabric I was looking for, with code, so I asked one of the workers who worked there. The mildly depressed looking lady pointed the top shelf and said "It's somewhere between that white fabric and that red fabric", and just left. That's like 40 fabrics.
Obviously I couldn't find it because every fabric was a different type and I had to check every label.
One of the most dysfunctional stores I've visted, and will never come back here. Went to Hobby Lobby instead, and was happy how organized things were. This Joann store should just close.

If I could rate at 0, I would do so. Went in looking for some flowers and left with disappointment. Customer service is the worst I've ever experienced . As soon as you walk in, they are following you around, like if you are going to steal something but minding that 75% of the store is out of stock. Rather to do my business w Dollar Tree than this place. Teach your employees some customer service skills.

Worst customer service especially from the store manager name Billy. There is a nicer way to speak to your customers. If you’re a manager you should have had for it. I will never recommend this place. They only had one person working and he was too busy on the phone. I had one simple question and apparently I had to wait in line for it.

This is the worst Joann store I have ever been to. The employees are not at all friendly and will not acknowledge you whatsoever even when checking out. Almost half the store is fabric so if you are looking for that you might like it. The store seems old and run down on the INSIDE but not outside. They had a lot of sales but with limited stock other than fabric, I only bought some yarn. I was looking for cross stitch stuff but they only had a handful of kits and zero books/patterns. If you need some thread or hoops they had a lot of that. Very disappointing experience so I will try another location or go to Michael's next time.

The selection of art supplies at this store is incredibly poor, they are almost non-existent. Instead, go to Michaels on the corner of Vista way if you are an artist.

Any store that expects you to wait in line behind like ten people just to have someone open the restroom for you is not a store I will ever spend money in again

This store is a mess. They seem to be understaffed. The girls at the cutting table and register are usually very sweet and friendly. But, the two managers are downright miserable and rude. I've been going to this store for years and I'm noticing such a decline that I'd rather drive to LA than deal with what this store offers.

2/21/24 went in to buy some fabric tonight 7pm. Waited for someone to help me for over 10 minutes. Watched 2 employees talking to each other, they knew I was there and didn’t make any effort to help. Finally walked out without getting any help. I’m going to hobby lobby in Vista for my fabrics now

Best crafts and fabric store we have ever been to. love the staff and the District Manager Karin Westfield took the time to stop and help me pick out right fabric I was looking for . Wow! What other company would do that?

Disorganized and staff are interested in actually helping customers. I came in this afternoon as it was on my way out of Oceanside and noticed on their website that they had 7 skeins I needed in a particular brand in color. Upon arrival, I only came across 1, so I asked an associate for help, reluctant, but she helped foe a a minute handing me 3 additional skeins - I needed a total of 4. When I asked about the listed 7, she immediately responded with, "That's all we have!". I then asked if she could check San Marcos, as I was heading that way anyway, and she immediately responded with, "They don't have any either. Your nearest is temecula!" And walked away. Um, ok. I ended up setting the items down because why in the world would I give that store the sale and opted to check San Marcos in person myself. Upon arriving the the Joanne's, in San Marcos, I ended up finding plenty of the brand and color skeins I specifically was looking for, confirming the associate in Oceanside lied and was simply uninterested in actually working and or helping a customer. San Marcos Joanne's is far cleaner, organized, and better staffed. I highly recommend people make the extra drive vs. waste time in Oceansides Joanne's

The entire store smells uniquely terrible and the lighting and decor evoke feelings of helplessness and dread. It resurrects dormant emotions not experienced since the last time I was a child lost in a department store.

I have no idea what is happening with this location. Are they deliberately trying to drive customers away? Store is filthy, unorganized, and oddly empty, except for the completely ordinary, uninspiring seasonal decor imports...that you can find ANYWHERE. Cheap, artificially marked down (who falls for this?) and boring. Why can't you concentrate on your specialty niche, that brings customers in...you know, FABRIC. Came in today for a very specific (should be a quick find, cut and go!) fabric. Needed 3 yards of black velvet. The " security " officer that was standing in the doorway neither greeted me or made eye contact. I'm not sure why he was there. Ok, went looking for the very specific fabric I needed. No employees anywhere on the floor. Employees that are cutting fabric at the cutting tables are too busy to answer questions or even direct you to an area. So frustrating. What an absolute waste of time, so frustrating.

With the way the employees were following me around, you'd think I was shoving everything I could reach into my pockets. Bummer, this store is really unimpressive especially compared to the San Marcos store. Poor selection, poor service, and terribly disorganized. I would not shop here again. Your employees did everything they could to make me feel as unwelcome as possible. Guess I'm gonna spend what I was planning to spend here at Michaels (since this store doesn't have ANYTHING fine art related really)
