“Our family has been coming here ever since I was a baby. Now I get to enjoy it with my children. Very nostalgic for me. Love that a lot has stayed the same. The service is great! The location right on the beach is perfect. The kitchen is full of all the tools you need. The parking is difficult with the poles between each stall but not a major thing. Glad we get to enjoy this place every year.”
“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marbella in Oceanside, and I'm happy to share my experience. I grew up in Oceanside and needed the perfect place for my partner and I to enjoy a weekend getaway. This was perfect! The room was clean, well-stocked with the essentials and even pots, pans, and other kitchen necessities, making it feel like a home away from home. The room itself felt very spacious, offering the comfort of a small apartment that you'd be happy to stay in for a long while. The interior was all updated with a nice modern and beachy aesthetic.There is a large deck to enjoy the views of the strand with a nice fireplace and a grill too! The other residents were super friendly and respectful during our stay. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves thoroughly.For anyone considering a peaceful getaway by the ocean, the Marbella should definitely be at the top of your list! I will certainly be staying here again. Cheers!”

“We’ve stayed here probably three about 20 times over the past 10 years and it’s been a decent experience overall. This hotel has an okay breakfast and it’s walking distance to everything. The parking is ridiculously overpriced the staff is hit and miss depends who you get. There is not much complementary offerings as it used to be and everything is just ridiculously overpriced including the rooms.”

“Loved everything about it. It had everything you'd want a hotel to have -pool, hot tub, good sized fridge, microwave, AMAZING complimentary breakfast, bath tub/shower with pumps for body wash, shampoo, & conditioner... closet, iron, ironing board, blow dryer, work desk, lamps & great lighting, including a patio door that provides amazing natural light..the beds are comfy & soft with plenty of pillows, all the lil toiletries you'd need... there's also a gym & laundry room!! It was also within walking distance to local restaurants & shops, so I definitely took advantage of that! The staff was also very helpful & friendly, & the room was spotless! We saw how hard those ladies work to keep those rooms clean, & they definitely deserve recognition, too. The only very small complaint I have is that the TV will not connect to WiFi, & neither would my PS4, so I was a bit bored during my time in the room, as I only had my phone & the few crafty things I brought to keep me busy. Thank u for an amazing vacation, Best Western. We'll definitely be back!! ?”

“Great Hotel. Ive been a marriot resident dozens of times ove the past 2 decades and this residence inn is great. Clean, quiet, spacious, and amazing breakfast and coffee free in the morning. More people should stay here. Its a few minutes from the pier but you dont have to deal with the parking and noise like staying near the pier. Great for families.”

I had a scary paranormal experience. There was something making noise in my room at 12 am. My grocery bags were moving by themselves. I was terrified.”

“Nice hotel located in an area that they are developing. There are restaurants right by hotel and some a little past the hotel. If you stay in a room facing the front of the hotel, you will hear the traffic that starts at 5am. Room got cleaned daily. Overall it's an ok hotel.”

“Very dated and can be a little warm with no air conditioning. If you like watching trains, room #29 is the place to be. Metrolink, Amtrak and Coaster. Great location, I walked over from the train station.”
“What a hidden gem! We came in late at night hoping to find a room available. The room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable, we had hot water to shower & the price was shockingly less then expected. When we woke up & realized how nice the area around us was, we didn't want to leave. Lots of shops & resataurants within walking (long walk) or short drive away. We will definitely stay here again.”
“For the price, I thought the room & location were good. I didn't see any bugs in my room. Some of the furniture was a little banged up but that's to be expected if you're not staying in a $300+ a night place, how would they afford to replace it that often? Bed was comfortable, felt like a pillow top. Stayed in a king ocean view room. Maybe it depends on the kind of room you get for the complaints. But I enjoyed my stay & plan to book the same kind of room here next year.

“The location itself and the view to our suite was beautiful. Although there was no AC, visiting in October was pretty fresh and cold at night. Our suite was overall clean, however the carpet to the stair case and in the rooms needs to be teared down. All carpet should be replaced with either tile or wood to create a cleaner space. The carpet was brown itself and the dirty spots on the carpet were dark. Other than that I strongly recommend staying here.”
“Do to a family issue we had a rather long stay at this motel 6. It’s not fancy but it is clean and the people here are extremely kind. I would come back and stay here again if I was to come back to California.Walkability: Restaurants were all in walking distance. Even Starbucks next door.”

“This hotel is a good place. I've stayed more here then any other hotel because of location close to everything I mean everything... Walmart, Albertsons, grocery outlet, DMV, sizler, wendys, mcdonslds, jackinbox, chickfela, in and out, taco bell, Italian food, Mexican food, thift store, dollar tree, home depot, a couple pharmacy's, knoll,...... they used to allow laundry, ice..snack machines all night... now they close early... only downfall I guess...
Nearby activities: Lego land, carl straus brewery, beach a few miles out but go 20 more for SeaWorld, san diego zoo. Indoor skydiving.

“I think that at first there was a lack of empathy on the part of the Manager. Since upon arriving at the hotel ? my friend and I went to check in since we decided to stay there because we went to the beach and we got a lot of tan and it hurt. Upon arrival there was a girl who spoke Spanish and a boy who did not speak, apparently they were training the girl, we asked a question TO SEE IF THERE WAS AVAILABILITY OF A ROOM IN THE DOWNLOAD AREA. But it was because of the weight of our things and our arms hurt and we were battered from the beach. The girl who speaks Spanish lets us know that they are not available since they are rooms for people with pets, which we understood perfectly. They asked us for a $200 cash deposit that we didn't have and we told them that we were going to the bank to withdraw and we would return when we returned. My friend gets out alone and comes back and tells me, get off, that the manager is speaking rudely to me and doesn't want to help me with the translator and He doesn't let the girl who speaks Spanish speak ?. I got out of the car, I don't speak it much but I do understand, when I got out the lady explained to me why she wasn't going to give me the room that was for a pet etc... and she told me she didn't want to waste time using a translator and I ok, I didn't really understand why so much. drama if they had not already let them know. He gave me the room on the top floor which was full of mosquitoes and the shower was clogged. But apart from that drama, you only have to bring cash for the deposit that they return to you and I think it can be a good hotel.

“Really enjoyed our 2-night stay! Highlights include the central location to oceanside/Carlsbad, the walkability to great restaurants/coffeeshops, the very thoughtful curated touches (surfboards, bikes, in-room cutlery and bowls/plates/mugs/glasses), and the outdoor space felt private and secluded from S Coast Hwy (we didn't notice any noise from the street at night). We stayed in room 6 and felt it was the perfect size for 2 ppl-- the bathroom is cozy! Free lot parking right in front was perfect as well. Loved the overall vibe and the attentive, friendly hosts and other guests as well! Would highly recommend for an easy, seamless, memorable stay if you are in the area.”
