“Pappy's is the best.Freshly cleaned floors , new selections of beer, fishing gear , toys , groceries and liquor . Staff like Ron Mexico keep the store tidy , el russo holds the fort down. With Jamal always stocking the 2 dollar beer with the best stuff 2 $ dollars can buy . Pappys is the place to be .”
“The tacos were amazing, we had some for a party and were not disappointed .The cashiers were also very helpful. We will be back for sure. They also have their own pan dulce, cakes, cookies made there.”
“It rained early morning, but when I got there at 11am, all the booths on the 2 blocks were there. The farm fresh veggies and plants were toward the east end, and the arts/crafts/clothing and prepared foods were on the west side. On this late November morning, I found a nice variety of fresh fruits and veggies--strawberries, blackberries, asian pears, romaine lettuce, slightly green mandarins (sweet with a slight fresh-picked tartness), baby boy choy, kabocha, butternut squash, etc.”
“I told the staff members that if I ever get a min, I'll 5 star them! .. I was shocked in person! Never ever never ever was I greeted and helped in such a way. They quickly help me search for items. Very kind employees.. definitely neighborhood family store 4 sure, I'm so used to ghetto hood Wal-Marts and such, ask for help wait 18 mins.. or get eyes roll on.. Anyway, I genuinely felt welcome here without sarcasm. They are the real deal - helpful store. 100 positive vibes ?”

2245 S El Camino Real, Oceanside“My mind screamed in horror as the anxiety knife shoved itself in and out with each item that was rung up. I feared... I feared for my wallet. It's such a sweet soul. It doesn't deserve to take the brunt of my hunger. My wants. My desires. IT'S JUST A LITTLE GUY WHO WANTS TO SWING ON THE SWINGS! But when the last item rung up, and the total beeped its horrid beep, I gazed upon its display and felt relief. My wallet would know peace this day bc WinCo has amazing prices. There there, little guy.”
“I ordered $87.00 worth of food. I ordered a large container of Lechon, large container of Pancit, large container of rice, some lumpia, three containers of Pinakbet, and some fresh vegetables and calamansi. Everything was so fresh and so amazing. ( I did wait 15 mins for the 1.5 lbs of fresh Lechon). Being from Hawaii, I have really missed this kind of mom and pop Filipino Restaurant/ Market. They also have all the Hawaiian Sun drinks I grew up with in Hawaii. I have been here three times and it is always excellent. It is worth the drive. I use to drive to Mira mesa and I won't, never again. (I have also tried the place in San Marcos and the food tastes like it has sat out all day and it was over priced and they have small portions).”
“Samantha is my spirit animal. I could literally cry. Christmas shopping for my 3 kids stockings while they were with me was so hard. I picked out a few little things from the vitamin area while my kids were busy smelling the soaps and wondered how in the world I would be able to hide the items from my little detectives. I scanned the area for someone to help and Samantha was my beacon of light in the darkness. "I'm trying to hide some stuff from my kids, I need a little bag!" She locked eyes with me "a bag? I got you!" she replied and off she went in a flash. When she returned my kids had found me and without missing a beat she announced loudly so my kids could hear "here are those broccoli bags you needed, you know, for the broccoli!" Genius. She understood the assignment. As if her performance in the vitamin section wasn't enough, she followed up by finding us in the check out line and telling my kids a story to distract them from the items that were being rung up. I just can't even. Being a mom of multiple littles this time of year is so stressful. People are super judgy and impatient. Samantha reminds me of customer service 20 years ago, when people took pride in work ethic. This woman is destined for greatness. Thank you Sam, I love you and I hope we meet again some day. Merry Christmas.”
“I love their meat department. Best around. Prices are great and they ALWAYS have what we need...without fail. Been shopping at stater bros for 25 years. Only wish they hadn't closed the store closer to us but still drive 15 mins to go to another store.”

3450 Marron Rd, Oceanside“Really clean store. They do have self checkout. Of the 3 Albertsons in Oceanside, the one off of Mission Ave is the only one without selfcheckout. There's a gas station in the same shopping center along with a few other stores like T-mobile and Petsmart. There are plenty of items in stick. The front setup is a bit different, but I really like it.”
6AM - 10PM
3925 Mission Ave, Oceanside“A standard grocery store, not usually very busy, and not offering self service checkout -- which is good and bad! I like that I recognize the checkers, and the lines are not usually long. They don't carry everything I need, but the butcher guys are super nice and helpful. Just a compliment on the flowers --- one or three times in ten, their $5 Friday bouquets are worth the trip. There have been a few bouquets that lasted over two weeks... totally random, but worth noting. Can't seem to add a photo, but lilies and roses were exquisite.”
“Something about this grocery outlet, they do it right well stocked with things I need friendly staff clean store and spacious. Of all the grocery outlets in San Diego county I'd rate this one the best.”
“?Been here since the early '70s, like 1973!!! They always used to sell great Rotisserie Whole Chickens, haven't been here for awhile but they were Great Rotisserie chickens!!! Juicy and lightly oily crispy skin, yum ?!!!”
“Five Stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The Wisconsin Market is a staple of the Oceanside community, not only that, they are also STOCKED with an incredible selection of spirits, snacks, housewares, home goods, soft drinks, juice and even merchandise. It is a stellar example of being a community cornerstone. Make sure to say hello to the friendly staff and owner.”

1527 Mission Ave, Oceanside“Went to get me a champorado. I loved it. My kid loved the corn tamales, but the cheese tamales were not really tamales. They weren’t gross, It just didn’t have much cheese at all. Cashier service was fine no complaints there.I like this place better than other large Mexican markets in North County”
7AM - 11PM
218 N Cleveland St, Oceanside“As a visitor good place to pick up drinks and snacks for hotel room. The fresh cookies are good. Be ready to pay convenient store beach front prices for every thing.”
“I love this sprouts location. They are always nicely stocked, super helpful staff and fresh food choices. I love their sushi counter and everyone who works there. They have delicious sushi rolls and I love the other sushi counter items. The bun buns are amazing ! I love coming here weekly”
“This review is for Amy from the bakery department, she decorated my daughter’s birthday cake and did a phenomenal job on it! I am so happy with how it turned out, and my daughter is over the moon with the little hammy on top. I say give this girl a raise, she is awesome! Thank you so much Amy for making my daughter’s cake special.”
“The market is pretty good. They had everything we needed to make all things Mexican. Of course the prices are a bit high, but it's a small local business. The food they make in house is decent at best, nothing spectacular. Haven't tried everything yet, but since I live 1 min from it, probably will eventually have everything they have to offer. Also, they didn't have tamales in the morning and I think their pan was baked the day before.. not to good not toooooo bad.The employees are the best actually.”
“Can you say everything under one roof? That's what this MCX has and in such a huge place, you should find something for everyone. As a Navy vet from LA, why drive all the way down to 32nd St NEX in SD when you can just visit MCB Camp Pendleton? I sure did and am happy to do so.”
9AM - 9PM
4251 Oceanside Blvd, Oceanside“I normally don't shop here but came in to find a couple of items I needed. Very small store with little options. Staff is ok but not available to help when needed and no available registers; line was very long.”
“We had a party for one of our sons and got most of what we needed. They have a wide selection of food and paper supplies in bulk. The only thing they didn’t have was the long lighter stick to start a little fire from a distance vs the small lighters. I went to another establishment to find the long lighter stick for candles, chaffing dish fuel or fire place. I recommend this store for your party food supply needs.”
6AM - 10PM
2255 Mission Ave, Oceanside“The owner is the nicest person. They are always helpful and have what I like at a good price. I have been coming here for 5 years and will continue to help this family owned business.”
“This is a great spot for craft beers yeah they have other items but if you're looking for craft beers this is a great spot. What I really like is that they have a good selection of single cans of craft beers for a reasonable price. This store is jammed packed with stuff so be careful walking around.”
6AM - 10PM
845 College Blvd, Oceanside“This is the Vons where we go to the most. It has a pharmacy with very accommodative pharmacists. The store is close to the highway and major roads. I like the atmosphere and large aisles. It is very quiet inside which makes it easy to shop and find what you need. They also have a Starbucks inside as well for those coffee goers. The produce section is very large and nice. The parking lot is standard and easy to find good parking. This is a good bond grocery store.”
7AM - 9PM
620 N Redondo Dr suite # e, Oceanside“The store looks small from the outside but the inside is packed with all kinds of goodies. There are so many choices and brands of items it's great to just shop. The front counter lady is also very nice and friendly. I enjoyed my visit and got what I wanted fast and easy.”
“If you’re looking for El Nopalito salsa, this is the wrong location—it’s another place with the same name. However, they do sell the El Nopalito chips at a better price than the other one! Very helpful service.”
7AM - 9:30PM
2031 Mission Ave, Oceanside“I’ve been coming to the Viva to cash out my checks and send money to my family for about 3 years now and no one has ever stood out to me more than that one lady that I believe is named Ariana? She looks Arabic with long black hair. Regardless of the day she’s had she has always attended me with a smile and a great attitude. However I unfortunately cannot say the same thing for the rest of the employees there, her customer service is just unmatched. I have not seen her these past couple of days and I asked but was told that she wasn’t working with there anymore which is very unfortunate. Ever since she’s been gone I find myself having to wait in line for a long time. Ariana always worked fast and efficiently so that might have been why. I wish the owner would work with the rest of his employees so that they can have more people her Ariana.”
8AM - 9PM
3200 Mission Ave, Oceanside“I stopped drinking American Coke sometimes it’s hard to find Mexican Coke, until I came into Z-Market.It’s a cross between a liquor store and a convenience store and they have a lot of these type products at decent prices. The market isn’t dirty, just a little bit cluttered. I like it there, you never know what you are going to find.”
“Great selection of fish and Filipino and Asian staples. I mainly go here for the fish, but I've visited to buy some lumpia and sauces as well. The way the fish counter works is you pick your fish and hand it to the fish cleaner behind the counter in the back. He hands you a ticket and you go to the front to pay. Return back with the receipt and collect your cleaned fish! You also have the option of them frying your fish for a fee - which really hits the spot on those warmer days.Highly recommend it here.”
“Came in to buy flowers for my wedding bouquet. Staff was friendly and helped with suggestions when I asked for help. They ended up gifting my roses to me and said happy wedding day from us! It was the sweetest thing ever.”
