Customer service is poor. They tell you just for assistance if you need it. But when you ask I feel that it's a burden or they look like I'm bothering them. The owner is cool but hardly in the store, maybe busy somewhere else. If you are desperate to replace your lost gear, okay go for it. But avoid this place if you can. Lady at the register has major attitude.

Came here to resell my husbands old military gear. Friendly service, call ahead to confirm they are buying that day because they don't buy everyday. They are looking for dress blues right now size 42 and up and slacks size 34 and up right now. They have a ton of military gear so if you're looking for a deal, check them out!

Needed some gear to turn in IIF gear and went here for eyepro and a pair of war belt suspenders, I paid in total 135.31, which seemed high but I didn't mind at the time. IIF wouldn't accept the eyepro, so I went back to exchange it possibly and I even offered another pair of eyepro as an incentive. I showed him the transaction on my bank account statement because I threw the receipt away and he acted like it wasn't real ( probably because he knows he overcharged me the first go around) anyways he finally agrees to do the swap, but then he rings me up for 38 dollars! I didn't want to pay it but I didn't have a choice and then after I paid it I asked for my incentive eye pro back and he says " you said you would give to me for the swap" and I said " that's before i thought you were going to charge me the difference" and he goes " whatever I didn't have to help you". Dude scammed me out of 46 dollars and was rude after he did it lmao don't go here.

Bummed because I’ve driven here 3 times in the past week and a half and they’ve been closed during business hours. The first time I came at 6:50 and they were closed (supposed to close at 7), second time I came at 6:05 and they were closed at 6 even though on Google it said 7, and I stopped by today at 2pm and they were closed for a 2(?) hour lunch break? Kind of disappointing.

No refunds wish they would of told me before. I walked out and then walked back in realizing it's the wrong item and they had some attitude when I asked for a refund I just wanted to know if I could, a simple no sorry would of been fine.

Was there last week with a few friends .......$79.99 for a condor admin pouch that I can get from amazon for $18.99 is ridiculous.As were the prices on about 90% of the items in the store.We couldn't believe the prices and went elsewhere to spend our money.I went to 3 other surplus stores that day and they were all busy with customers.Was in this store for 45 minutes and not one person came in. Maybe the news of the high prices has gotten around.I have plenty of money to spend but I'm not going to pay for your rent space.If these prices are wrong.......then maybe the person marking the prices needs to check the setting on the price gun.

Had exactly what I needed for Cif checkout. Priced under Cif list price for most items. Gear was clean. Smelled great. Cif took everything I purchased from Gearhound the first time around. My other stuff got rejected.

Bought a complete tent setup here. Rainfly doesn't match the tent. They don't do returns and the owner is somehow always out of town. Can't recommend this place. They're all about freedom. Freedom of having to provide customer service for wrongly tagged products

Not sure why everyone is leaving such negative reviews. The owner is insanely helpful and the 60$ product i went in for was only 50$ here. And CIF accepted it without question. Would 100% recommend this place to a friend.
