Not too pleased. I went through a great deal of effort researching where to buy a Steam Deck and the GameStop website mentioned it has it at this location. Drove 20 minutes only to find out they had none. Needs to update their website a little more accurately and more often to let the customers know, at least.

Yesterday, I found some Wii games and went to Game Stop on Mission Marketplace to see if they could use them. Kloe (sp?) took one Wii Sports Resort and the the Wii hardware that came with the game. But she removed a motion adapter from one of the controllers - an item that is clearly needed for Wii Sports Resort. Then she asked If I want store credit or cash. I took cash. At home I looked at the games she did not take and found one I liked to play but it needs a Game Cube. I went to the Game Stop website and found they have several Game Cubes. Today, I went back to bring, again, the original box for Wii Sports Resort with the paperwork that explains that a motion sensor is required. The woman in the store was engaged in a conversation which she continued for some time before turning to talk to me. I explained that it looks like she really needs that motion adapter for the game to function - and she finally took it. Then I explained that I would like to buy a game cube and use my store credit from yesterday - and certainly give the cash back first. She told me: absolutely not.... furthermore they do not have a game cube for sale. I was surprised by her attitude, said Thank you and left. I went back to ask for her name: Michelle, a woman in her 50s.

I ordered a PS5 power chord online. They accepted my purchase without checking if they had it in stock. Then they told me to go to another GameStop in Vista "that should" have it in stock according to their records. Sure enough, the Vista location did not have it either. The lack of interest in the customer's time, and the lack of attention to detail is unacceptable. Recommend employers to take more responsibility for their stores and ensure they are being ran properly.

Went in to trade some games and get a new one. Kloey was the one helping me and she was so rude I could not comprehend what she was doing working with people. When I asked if one of my games that was unopened was worth more since it had never been opened, she responded with that's not how it works, it just doesn't. And then I asked if they had a game in stock and with out looking for it she said they didn't have it because "they sold a lot of things in the past few days". She didn't even look, didn't care to look, and was just unprofessional and straight out rude. If she is ever in this store again when I go in I'm turning around and walking out.

Michelle was simply delightful. I was able to find what I needed, Michelle was so helpful and answered all my questions. This will definitely be my new go to shop. Thank you so much!

Poor service and they think me having a backpack and me being a black man I'm in there to steal something i won't be going in there again. Yet I've been going in this location since it opened and it's only the white people who have issues with my backpack. When I visited the store today two other white customers were walking around inside with backpacks. But oh well it just shows gamestop is a dead company nobody buys games there anymore.

I’ve been coming to this GameStop for maybe five years or so and maybe the first couple years were great. Believe me the service has gotten terrible. I feel like the employees don’t know the return policy with insurance. I have to keep reminding them. I don’t need my receipt. You just see the sticker and they just make it into a bigger deal. This is happened to me multiple times I’d rather drive farther then go to this location because of the lack of knowledge and I recently went there two days ago, the man working told my boyfriend that he couldn’t return his headphones even if he had his receipt and besides that he has such a sassy attitude, and just seems so miserable being there and I went to target and they said that we could do that so maybe retrain some of your employees on the return policies because this seems to be the only location that struggles with that because other game stops can do it perfectly fine

Short staffed, had to wait 30 mins because the lead staff was on lunch. When she came back I said “ you guys are short staffed, are you hiring” and she immediately said they weren’t in not the best tone and then she yelled at 2 Customers for taking a picture with a Mario Hat. I don’t know what’s going on at this location but it seems like they need some serious customer service training and more staff and that’s coming from someone who works in customer service.

The employees here are pretty terrible to be honest. Employees back door just about every promo release for Pokémon TCG. One of the employees open admitted to taking them home and I think the boss is in on it too as they expressed less than decent opinions. I don't think this is the only location doing this either. I don't recommend this location.

Had an awful experience with Kloey today. My husband planned to go in to the store and trade in some games while renewing his pro membership in order to utilize certain percentages off towards the pre-order of a new game. When we initially entered, Kloey complained of always being in the store alone without anything to do. When my husband walked up to the register to start the process, she immediately called another employee asking if they could look up her employee ID as she couldn't remember it. Fast forward to Kloey completely botching the entire transaction by processing the trade-ins first, and then proceeding to renew the membership on another transaction. This effectively prevented the percentage of those trade-ins to go toward my husband's new game as he'd requested and explained. She also proceeded to tell him that she couldn't pre-order the new game for him despite the fact that it is coming out next week. At this point in time, my husband was tired of trying to explain what he was trying to do to someone who was very clearly new. He asked her to go ahead and refund the membership and he'd go to a different shop. She responded that she couldn't cancel it???? Now my husband used to work for GameStop. He knows that cancellation can be done along with the pre-order of new games (hello??). When he pushed back about the cancellation, the employee proceeded to call her 'manager'. She then began lying on the call stating that she had told my husband prior to the transactions that she couldn't pre-order the game. When my husband asked her why she was lying, she proceeded to break out the crocodile tears. He quickly apologized and told her that he wasn't angry with her, but that he would appreciate if she told the truth. Instead, she very dramatically told the person on the phone that she was being harassed and told my husband that if he didn't leave, she would call the police. This entire interaction was completely unnecessary. She had mentioned that her manager was available at a different location and that if needed additional help, he should go there. So we went to the other location to speak to the manager. Turns out, the person Kloey called and who she sent us to was simply another employee. No manager, no resolution, no nothing. So now my husband is out the cost of his membership, the percentage of his trade-ins that should have gone towards a new pre-order, and the pre-order for the game itself. Absolutely terrible service and a ridiculous escalation over what was clearly this employees lack of knowledge. The fact that there was also no management to be found is insane to me.

Service without a smile, I purchased multiple games and every time I stop by I am met with the unenthusiastic face of the cashier. Like he has anything better to do than to do his job. Honestly if I had anywhere else I could buy my games I would. But because of the location, I am forced to see the squidwards at the cash register

Very nice experience, checking out is a long process, understaffed. Their sell/buyback policy is ridiculously, the lady i front of me was asked for proof of identity, bill proof, and all sorts of information to sell their video games back to Game Stop. This should not be the case and their business practices should change and imo improve else risk failing at customer satisfaction and business model as a whole.
