Five Star Market Inc. is a convenient, locally owned market with a pretty good and spectacular selection. It offers everything needed for Mexican cooking, including Hispanic and general foods, Mexican spices, shelf-stable ingredients, alcohol, groceries, non-alcoholic beverages, and endless munchies. The store has a great liquor and beer selection and a lot of beatbox’s for cheap. The food made in house is decent at best, nothing spectacular, but the food counter has some fantastic eats. Options include freshly made burritos and tacos, premade tortillas, enchiladas, and other food to take home. The homemade roasted red salsa and guacamole are amazing, and the tacos at the taco stand are pretty good. The excellent meat counter and butcher counter also receive good reviews. Prices are a bit high, not the cheapest, and are described as moderate, but convenience makes up for it. The market is very convenient and a no frills place. Produce is hit or miss, often overpriced and not very fresh, though sometimes excellent. The staff is great and the employees are the best.
We live 5 mins away from this shop and did not know that they sell yucca and taro.

They have a lot of beatbox’s for cheap but cashiers always are weird about id if u don’t have any makeup on they question it if u do in ur Id but hopefully they stock up on the new beatbox’s because all the new flavors are great!

Excellent Marinaded meats!!! Excellent home made tortilla chips, great staff, highly recommended.
