Great environment and instructors at Excel. They teach not only great bjj but respect and hard work. The entire atmosphere is positive and they have a great kids program for competitive or casual jiu jitsu.

I have been training at Excel for about 2 years now and i got to say that i always have had a great experience on every single training. You always go back home knowing that i learned something new, had fun and released some steam. The Professors are all very knowledgeable and patient in teaching the gentle art. For anybody thinking in starting on learning a new martial art or keep going on your journey this is the place. They also teach boxing and mixed martial arts if interested. Fantastic place! ? ? ?

Our 4 kids have grown tremendously at Excel in both their jui jitsu skills and life/work ethic over the past year. We absolutely love the family atmosphere and all are made to feel welcome here. Invaluable life lessons are taught daily and a strong work ethic is infused into each lesson. LOVE our Excel family and gym!

Awesome place to learn a variety of martial arts!! Boxing? They got you! Kick boxing? They got you! MMA? They got you! BJJ (no-gi & gi)? You best believe they got you!Not only that, the facilities are clean and well taken care of! Complete with bathrooms and changing room, if needed.Michio, owner and head coach, goes above and beyond in fostering a positive learning environment that are boths challenging and family friendly. All the coaches are great and you will not go wrong coming here.

Our children have been attending classes at Excel since August of 2021. We are a military family and have experienced several studios due to moves. Excel has exceeded our expectations not only in physical training but in preparing our children for leadership roles by encouraging student-coaching, Student of the Month Awards, and Leadership Stripes. Excel offers in-house tournaments to prepare students for bigger competitions, they do grappling daily in class as well as focusing on fundamentals-it’s not all drills but practical application. Excel offers a while variety of classes to meet all ability levels for young students and adults. The staff has been amazing and our children love to go to class-6 days a week. Professor Michio and Professor Kidd are excellent instructors and run a wonderful facility. Check them out for a trial!

Quality academy from the top down. Professor Michio and Professor Kidd have a fantastic dojo. There are great, ego free coaches here who are genuinely invested in the students growth and learning of techniques and principles over mere rolling and submission. The atmosphere is very family friendly and they have many classes during the day to choose from. Highly recommended!

Great place to train in Jiu Jitsu and learn some boxing skills as well! The people friendly and are there to help you grow as much you'd like to in any discipline, but they will not force you to do anything. They teach about having the right mindset and not making it about emotions which I believe is essential. Hearing the testimonies of people that have been going there for years was refreshing! Training there helped people not just physically, but mentally. Not just Excel in training, but Excel in their life! This is a great community to be apart of.

Our children have been attending classes here for about 6 months and have really grown. This is our third studio because of military moves but it has provided the most growth in fundamentals and discipline. The professors and coaches are completely invested in the kids. The coaches meet individual needs but always focus on the team mindset. They offer private classes, tiny tough, junior, adult, junior's competition, and many others. I highly recommend stopping in for a trail class.

I had the pleasure of teaching a fundamentals class here! Everyone was so nice and friendly! The professor is very humble and respectful! No bad vibes here at all! Their changing room is bigger than my bedroom! This place is huge! The only problem I had was time flew by so fast I didn't want it to end! I recommend excel to anyone who has any hesitations or concerns! OSS! Thank you professor!

My daughter wanted to try out Jiu jitsu and boxing so we decided to go check out Excel. Everyone was so welcoming and knowledgeable. She was enjoying it so much we all decided to join. I couldn’t ask for a better place to train and call my second home. Really a great family community.

Talking about great vibes just visiting here makes me want to come back the jiujitsu experience here is incredible also the stand up is something to check out. Very welcoming feeling the coaches and professors here are amazing a lot to learn and a lot of experience to gain if you’re in town check it out if you’re living in town sign up.
