Nice meat department. There is plenty to choose from. On my way to check out, I thought I would get some basics also. I was disappointed to see that their prices are higher than my usual stores. I'm talking about rice, beans, and bullion cubes. Each was considerably more. I did not buy anything else other than my selection from the butcher. The meat was priced well. I am curious as far as where they procure said meats from. Cooking the meat (pork) produced an odd smell, but it tasted fine. Could have been my sniffer was just defective.

Went to get me a champorado. I loved it. My kid loved the corn tamales, but the cheese tamales were not really tamales. They weren’t gross, It just didn’t have much cheese at all. Cashier service was fine no complaints there.I like this place better than other large Mexican markets in North County

Great place for fresh produce and meat at the best prices in town. Nice and clean, friendly staff. Used to be open till 11 pm, now it closes at 10 pm.

Excellent service at El Super! The staff was incredibly friendly and the operation manager Manuel went above and beyond to help me with cupcakes for my mom's 85th birthday. They even accommodated me with a great alternative. Highly recommend!

I will not be coming here again,the Atmosphere was not very welcoming as in regards to the workers. This was very apparent by the body language that was exhibited by almost everyone.Also on another note the area in which they serve fresh food ,tamales ,meat , beverages,etc...there is no numbers or any formal line whatsoever. It is a complete free for all and so you have people jumping right in front of you without any regard for consideration. This is a breeding ground for conflict.I will not be coming back to this location and the burrito I ordered was not all that.

Great store for the fresh produce and meats. There is also a plethora of other things you can get there too. Fresh bread and cheese among the stuff.Some beans and rice too.The hot food up front is typically pretty tasty. Get ya some.

Absolutely love the store for the produce and queso fresco, but the panhandle outside is getting out of control. I had a woman follow me up close and would not leave me alone.
