Anytime I walk into this store usually there is no one around to help. Today was definitely different. Went in to look at golf shoes, there were 3 employees standing at the golf counter having a little chit chat. Do you think that in the 30 minutes I was there any of them approached me to see if they could help. I’m going to assume that training is something this store really needs.

Anthony was so helpful. We went pretty late when I got outta work because my daughter needed new cleats for her game. He was really patient with my indecisive child & husband haha. I appreciate his attentiveness. We love DSG!

The location itself is great. It's close to the 78 and the 5. It's surrounded by nearby shops that people need such as Walmart and BestBuy. If you're not from O'Side and got hungry feeling sleepy, there's a ramen place, Starbucks, Mexican Restaurant and Einstein Bagels across the street. That's the only reason why I am putting 2 stars in this.As for the business itself, I am very disappointed. Two major things. (1) This place lacks the inventory. Might as well just buy items online. But I'm a big supporter of local in person shops because I'd like to try the items first and get a feel of it. However like I said.. due to their lack of inventory, they can't really deliver the top service that consumers need.(2) And I would like to specifically emphasize this. The management needs to reassess all their employees here. All the people on the floor are very unhelpful, extremely lazy and unprofessional. I had this Man that I was trying to ask for help and I knew we already made eye to eye contact but completely ignored me. Another one is too in a rush that just pointed out where I am supposed to go but gave us incorrect information.Sorry but this is a terrible branch. If you want to buy stuff that doesn't need professional assistance such as tennis balls, rackets, basketballs etc etc then go ahead and drop by. Make sure you go in and out.But if you are going to buy more sophisticated items that need info such as shoes and clothing then this isn't the right place for you

I just had one of the Worst Experiences. After a decline on my card…management was called to the front cashiers. I checked my bank account statement. I still had money. So I asked the Cashier if they did the transaction correctly. Out of nowhere, Nasty Manager Jessica, interrupting my conversation blurts out “ of course she did it correctly all she has to do is press a button.” I asked if I could get what the transaction did take back in cash but was quickly Denied by Jessica. Even though I had a receipt and we had just done the transaction 3 seconds ago. I asked to place them on Hold. I called The store to speak to a more respectful Manager, but guess who answered the phone? Yepp it was Jessica, so I tried to give her some pointers on Customer Service… she quickly became defensive and accused me of yelling at her cashier. At this point was done and hung up. This is more to focus on Jessicas Nasty attitude that ruined my day. Everyone else was doing an outstanding job. It’s just sad that they have to deal with a so called leader like that.

I was hoping to try on some Hoka shoes for a upcoming trip. They don't stock them here in the Oceanside location - Temecula, San Diego or online (wouldn't arrive in time). Ended up buying elsewhere online with free fast shipping. Otherwise this stores got a great shoe inventory.

Wow, worst customer service in the world!Sorry to bother all the chatty employees behind the desk... no one in line to pay, so why were there 8 of them behind the counter instead of helping clients?.... Then when i asked for help... i got nothing but ATTITUDE! I told them I needed soccer cleats for my son...he's never played, nor have I, so i needed a bit of guidance.... The associate walked us to a machine in the shoe department, and said put in your size, and it will tell you what we've got....& walked away... I can do that online!... I didn't need to come to your store in person to be disrespected and left to my own devices!If I hadn't needed the shoes for the next day, I would have walked out, and spent my hard earned $300 elsewhere! But I promise you.... I'll NEVER make that mistake again!
