I'll stay away from this guy , he is incredibly rude. First let me say I'm not the type of person to bring my dog into establishments like I'm Entitled but there are certain places where it's been appropriate like Home Depot and unfurnished furniture warehouses for instances. I've been meaning to get to this place so I can talk with the guy about commissioning a table and chairs but I had to find time. Today I show up and I had my under 20 pound dog with me because I took him on a walk and had some spare time to stop on my way home. When I pull up the guy is outside. The SECOND he sees me heading to the door with my dog he starts freaking out about dogs being in the store and says I can't not enter with my dog. He doesn't even give me a chance to say that I had planned on picking him up, he cuts me off and starts telling me that all dogs no matter what their owner says pee in his business. He's going on and on. I'm thinking dude, I just got back from a 30 minute walk where my dog emptied his bladder and he's freaking fully potty trained and does not pee in doors. Just how rude he was is total turn off for me to ever want to go back there and I can't and won't suggest him to anyone... At the end of the day it's his business and if he wants to lose a sale and not have dogs in his establishment that's his prerogative but he doesn't have to be a complete total jerk about the situation. I'm glad he has so much business over Jeromes, living Spaces, Ashley's furniture, Target, Walmart, big lots, amazon, Wayfair and everywhere else that sells tables and chairs (including unfinished) because he most definitely lost my business and I had some big plans starting with a table and chairs. Oh well, my quest for a table goes on... rude rude rude

I love our furniture from Danny's! I got tired of looking at poor quality, mass marketed furniture. Danny let me know he could make any wood-looking furniture shown in catalog in real wood. Told me to bring in a photo or draw/design it myself. I figured out the dimensions I wanted for two dressers and Danny helped me through all of the details! Ended up ordering two dressers, a bed frame, and a night stand. That was years ago and we are still very happy with it all.Now I'm figuring out dimensions for an entertainment center and a sofa table.

I bought a cabinet there and it was worth every penny I paid for it. Still have it after several moves and it's still great condition.

Whenever I need a new piece of furniture, the first place I go is Danny's Unfinished fFurniture. He has the best quality wood furniture, the most reasonable prices and when he stains a piece, it is FABULOUS.

I just realized I haven't reviewed Danny and told everyone about the great experience we had shopping in his Oceanside store. Not only does he have unfinished brands that he can stain any color for you, he also has finished furniture which is less expensive than you would pay at larger retail stores. I ordered a fabulous chest of drawers and two nightstands which are solid walnut on top and a beautiful solid honey colored wood on the base. These colors seems to get richer with time. The pieces go well with my Tommy Bahama living room. Though I must say the pieces I bought from Danny seem to be better quality than the Tommy Bahama. Can't beat the beautiful solid wood and great construction. Likely to last a long long time. Thanks again Danny!

Danny is the epitome of small business. It's a small crew, and it's a high quality product and high quality craftsmanship on the finish. Every time you go in you can count on the fact Danny will tell you about the wood and the finish even if you're a repeat customer! This is not an instant gratification sort of purchase. If you want a piece like this patience is a part of the process. The team is only a few people, and the furniture is shipped across the country. It's worth the wait of you make the investment in the time. Danny has a quirky personality, but he is passionate about his craft and was able to manage our delivery in two orders and one delivery.

Had our little dining room table ordered and stained here. I love how we're we're able to customize the color the table, the chairs, the legs, etc!Danny and his employees were friendly and were able to do sample stains to help us decide what to order. This is quality work- real wood and beautiful craftsmanship. Initially, when I got a quote on the pieces I wanted Danny made an error in the quote, and actually quoted me less than the actual cost. He honored the quote despite his mistake, which was very honorable of him. Definitely come here for your wood working furniture and cabinet needs. Thanks Danny!

What a great guy and honest businessman. Danny was helpful, gracious and knowledgable . The quality of his 100% wood furniture is superior to the common manufactured wood that is overtaking the market. BTW Google is wrong. Danny's is open 06/03/2020

Can't go wrong at Danny's. He knows quality. No particle board or "manufactured wood" in his shop. Only high quality hardwoods from skilled craftsmen. My daughter needed a new desk and Danny dialed us in. She loves the desk, its' hardware and functionality. Danny also gave me great guidance on stain and finishing. Oh, and Danny is a genuinely nice person.

We bought two dressers, a full bed frame, and a night stand a number of years ago and all of them have been wonderful and still look great. I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in the shop, but Danny handed me some catalogs and said they could make any of the items. I altered the dimensions of the dressers so they would have deeper drawers and designed the headboard of the bed. Not a problem! The prices were great too. I had been looking all over the place and the cost of Danny's real wood furniture beat most of particle board/veneer stuff.
