No service improvement needed here. CVS staff members and pharmacist provide excellent service. The checkout process is seamless. The pharmacist is professional and knowledgeable when administering vaccines. I'm happy I switched to the CVS pharmacy, particularly at this location.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a CVS pharmacy and was blown away by the exceptional service I received from the pharmacist on duty. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile, and the pharmacist took the time to listen to my concerns and answer any questions I had.Their knowledge of medications and supplements was impressive, and they provided me with helpful advice and recommendations. They took the time to explain the side effects of each medication and made sure I understood how to properly take them.I was also pleasantly surprised by their prompt and efficient service. My prescription was filled in no time, and I was on my way.Overall, I would highly recommend this CVS pharmacy and its knowledgeable and friendly pharmacist. They truly went above and beyond to provide me with excellent customer service and I am grateful for their help.

Alice is the most fantastic pharmacist we have ever had. Really kind and patient with all of our questions and requests and has really come through for us at the last minute at closing time with meds when someone has been really sick. We are super grateful she makes the stress of dealing with pharmaceuticals and insurance so much easier than it is. Would recommend this CVS on College Ave in Oceanside to anyone with Alice as the head pharmacist!

Over the years I have done business with many different pharmacies, especially CVS. I have to say that the pharmacy at 443 College in Oceanside is by far the best pharmacy ever. They always are so pleasant and truly care about helping you out.

Called in to check my prescription and the girl there was very unprofessional. She was not listening to me talk and and asked me to repeat everything twice. I even had to ask her if I'll be getting notified when my prescription was ready. Maybe she's new but she was not very friendly at all.

Working with a pharmacy can be this easy? After a week fighting with walgreens, switched here and had everything resolved with a 5 minute phone call.

Share reviewEmbed reviewComplimentSend messageFollow Scott B.Report review 7/14/2020I cannot adequately express what a pleasure it is to get my prescriptions from the CVS Pharmacy inside the Oceanside Target store. Really! I have been using the CVS/Target pharmacy for more than a year now (having switched from the Walmart Pharmacy across the street). In all this time, I have ALWAYS been treated like a family friend. The staff is consistently friendly, courteous, helpful and FAST! Getting your prescriptions filled within 30 minutes of them being called in by your healthcare provider is not unusual. In fact, it's the norm. There's seldom a line, and when there are a few people waiting, another employee usually steps up to help quickly. And, the staff go above and beyond to help. Example: When my Doctor called in a prescription for a very costly eye drop, the Pharmacist asked if I'd like the much less costly generic alternative. If you're sick of being treated like cattle in a pen by the rude and uncaring crew at the Walmart Pharmacy, you owe it to yourself to check out the CVS pharmacy inside Target. But PLEASE... leave your Walmart attitude in the parking lot. No need to spoil a good thing for the rest of us ;-)

This is by far the best pharmacy in my experience. Staff is friendly and respectful. Brittney ( pharmacist) is very helpful and informative.

This CVS isn't as large as the behemoth down on El Camino Real, but it is definitely light years ahead of the ramshackle little one we have just down the street from us. The location is a little out of the way, so I only use it in those rare instances (not so rare anymore...come to think of it...if you know you've got customers that have been on the same medications and the same dosages for the past few years, and you habitually rub out of those medications, someone isn't doing a fantastic job at ordering medications and I have only stayed with this pain of a pharmacy as long as I have because it's more convenient to have all of my families' tons of medications at the same one is precisely so I DONT have to travel all the way across the county in order to get medications filled every month. I'm getting ready to move a couple cities over next month; so the reasoning for me to keep this increasingly frustrating location is with good purpose. I refuse to waste gas to give my money to a pharmacy that is one of the most inept ones I've ever had the displeasure of frequenting. Anyplace is better than this. Seriously. Necessary medications that cannot be transferred are a pain to have to go to every OTHER CVS to fill. I don't have this issue with any of the other locations. Just this one: and it's problematic - to say the very least. On another note, I fully intend to KEEP my medications at the Oceanside Pharmacy...the best little private pharmacy you'll never regret spending the extra gas going to. It's right by my college, so maybe I'll transfer ALL of our meds there. This location at least had medication in stock to fill the medication, I'll say that for them. I'm really tired of corporatized locations though. They make money off a brand name that most stores may live up to, but just one chip in the glass makes the whole operation look like a flawed mess. I miss neighborhood stores and people who knew you by name when you went in to place your order, prescription, item for purchase. Now these locations are just giant machines churning out junk after junk ...it's got to be difficult finding meaning or purpose in any of that... I can't wait to move. Between my landlord and the house I'm renting and the chain stores everywhere you look, it feels like living under a microscope inside of a meat grinder... Small towns...within decent driving distance to the beaches and stores - but away from all the stink and noise and overpriced houses with their tiny yards and their huge, obnoxious sprawling suburbs and lack of forethought, foresight, or even thinking of a customer as anything more than a string of letters and numbers to be run over a scanner for the cost of a copay - and don't forget that paid-for plastic bag! Keep the keep the 2 cents I just gave...to represent the two things I really no longer give! ;)
