Norma I think her name pharmacist with black hair white coat was very rude to several co workers telling them not to be loud while complaining how dumb customers are in front of a while line of people. There’s more but I’m changing pharmacies as as possible.

Unfortunately the cashiers I have encountered here act as if they would rather be doing ANYTHING ELSE besides working at CVS!

Absolute worst pharmacy I’ve been to. The billing lady is unprofessional and does not know her job, especially when it comes to Veterans and the VA Mission Act. I had to call the VA Mission Act hotline directly and they helped me advocate for myself against the billing lady who denied CVS was part of the Act, without even doing her job and due diligence to look anything up. After the VA rep told me what to tell her and how to do her job, she finally acknowledged my free medication and did not offer an apology, only dirty looks and rudeness. Horrible customer service.

CVS sucks! October 18, 2023 I had Cervical Spine Artificial Disc Replacement Surgery C5-C7. Dr. Yoos office sent over Rx. Got a text that they don't have Oxycodone and don't know when they'll get it in. Sp, my doctor changed it to Percocet. CVS said the same thing, they don't have it and don't know when any CVS pharmacy will get it. We tried several different pain narcs and same shit with CVS.
I just had SURGERY AGAIN April 03, 2024 to remove my Artificial Disc and do a fusion. Couple days before surgery. Dr yoo sent my Rx again to CVS on Frazee in Oceanside and, I got the same bullshit story. I never got the medication needed for post surgery. I told my case manager at scripps memorial hospital and, she sent it to their out patient pharmacy with no problem what so ever.
It's a week since my surgery and I called my doctor. They said they would send over a prescription to CVS for my 4 meds. And, of course got the same damn text that they don't have one of the main pain meds I need and, that my insurance wont approve it because its too soon to get Dilauded. So, I called I said to the gentleman that you've been saying this to me since October 2023 and, you still don't have any scheduled pain meds. He said "yup, that's right." Plus your insurance won't approve it.
So, called Dr. Yoos off to send over Rx to Walmart. Just got a call from Walmart. All 4 meds will be ready by 6 pm. Had nothing to do with IHC not approving meds. It's about CVS micromanaging and, not giving patients the medications they need.
CVS is horrible! Customer service is horrible!

They deserve ZERO stars! Staff is RUDE especially an older woman with very short hair - salt & pepper and talks to you like she is scolding you and she is always correct. I've been getting g prescriptions here for over 7 years and they never have insurance correct. Copays are never correct and frustrating to hear them say " come back tomorrow because we close in 5 minutes". Really? They're not doing g job correctly and inconveniencing customer , yet I need to return. Beyond POOR service!

uncaring of patients or decency, robotic; 0 benefit of doubt for common customer needs .. better off supporting other businesses, Walgreens, Wallyworld, etc.

This place is an absolute joke. The drive thru line moves so slow no matter what time of day you go. It’s insane! When you finally get up to the window the employees are snippy and rude. I have called twice now to refill a prescription and I’m told it will be ready at 11 the same day. I go the next day to pick it up and apparently they don’t have it. It’s on back order. Nobody called to inform me of that. When I ask how long until they get the order they just say I don’t know. I asked to speak to the manager about the unprofessionalism and he is just as unprofessional as the rest.

Unbelievably bad Pharmacy. They’ll hang up on you if you’re asking too many questions about your medication. The absolute slowest service at the counter. I’m not sure why but, there’s 4 or 5 pharmacists working at the same time and only one serving the drive through and walk-in counter. I do not recommend! Many other options are available in the area.

Inefficient pharmacy with unprofessional staff. As all the other reviews mention, this pharmacy is extremely inefficient with rude and unprofessional staff (our experience was with a rude lady named NORMA). We confirmed that our prescriptions were sent to this pharmacy, the doctor’s office even called this pharmacy to confirm they received it as well (since we already had issues the 1st time we tried to pick up medication), but when it was time to pick up the medications again they said they never got the prescription and Norma says “it’s not their problem”.The seemingly untrained or poorly trained staff also makes the simple process of picking up medication take an extremely long time.

Honestly this place is the worst attitude and service ever! Nurses and Dr at hospitals deal with a lot for issues and they are usually kind helpful, and understanding! These peole here are horrible, disrespectful, rude!!! every time. and most of the time its there fault. Something needs to change.

I have used CVS pharmacy for years and the employees are very nice BUT I do not understand why they offer to sync your prescriptions so you can pick them up at the same time then something always gets delayed and you still end up having to go up there 2 or 3 times a month to get your prescriptions. One of my prescriptions was cancelled for some reason the end of December and I ordered it again this am. Tonight it was cancelled again. So when I called the pharmacist is going to refill it again now but now it is 2 weeks off from the rest of my prescriptions so it will no longer be in sync with rest of them. The pharmacist was not able to give me a reason it was cancelled just a glitch in the computer. It's frustrating having to keep going to CVS just to pick up all of your medications that are the same medication you have been on for years.

Make sure you have lots of time, if you are going to the pharmacy. Service is VERY slow service. No one is in a hurry here.

I feel in all fairness the terrible efficiency throughout the pharmacy dept.'s requirements is due to the never ending increasing "work cap"Endless work load put on the 1-3 human beings that are ever back there, and 2 of those 3 people just assist the 1 pharmacist. They need to "turn down orders" and or "new clients" once an unrealistically high quota # starts... ORRR obviously hire more than 3 people!!! That number never changes!! Yet their workload is never ending increasing endlessly.☆☆What would you expect!?☆☆
