Was sent to a doctor recommended by the pharmacy. 0ver $200 later and cream that was prescribed is useless and the doctor nor the pharmacy wants to make it right. They claim because I'm rubbing it in a different area, they can't help. Ridiculous . They just want to rip people off not help them!!!!

This is a compounding pharmacy. Every time I have gone there to pick up a prescription, the employees couldn't be nicer. When I call on the phone, they are always nice and helpful. They also sometimes mail my prescription to me. I highly recommend this business.

Dieter is a gem in the community. I do not know many people that dedicate themselves to bettering the quailty of women’s lives. I wish everybody could experience the wonderful service and care that I recieved. I highly recommend them.

The pharmacists are extremely rude and unhelpful. They overcharge for the rx and on top of that they charge additional cost for shipping. If you’re gonna mark up your prices so much on the rx, you shouldn’t then charge an extra $10 for shipping.The pharmacist was also extremely rude. The only reason I had to use this company was due to the fact they were contracted with my vet. I didn’t have a choice. I do not recommend this place.To the owners response: Are you that out of touch? I guess so. Why would I return the medicine if we need it? Get a clue! Shows how horrible their understanding is, and completely didn’t address any of my concerns. Stay away from this place!

The pharmacists are extremely rude. They also mark up the prices an exorbitant amount. On top of that, they don't include free shipping. The owner is super greedy. Would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. Look elsewhere, unless you don't mind being ripped off.

Best pharmacy in North County. Dieter and his team are knowledgeable and caring. High-quality, clean ingredients in the BHRT and thyroid meds. Pricing is competitive, and they'll mail out your Rx's if you want.

I already posted a review on The Pharmary's website, but here is a Yelp review. This is as much for people considering hormone replacement as it is for this business! Hormone replacement is "da bomb." When I was going through peri menopause, I had elbow pain. Hormone replacement for four months solved that problem. Years later, feeling weaker, I wondered if HRT could help. The new OBGYN I had wouldn't even discuss it with me -- so I'm now looking for a different OBGYN. Luckily, my GP, the fabulous Dr. Perrin J. Curran, was willing to discuss HRT, and wrote me a prescription to get some. He sent me to Dieter at The Pharmary on The Coast Highway in South Oceanside to get the prescription filled. Dieter asks you various questions so he can figure out the right blend of compounds to put into a cream that is applied to the skin. After you use it for a set amount of time, Dieter checks in with you to see if it needs to be tweaked. OMG, I opted for HRT with the idea it might improve my muscular strength, and I had no idea the impact it could gave in my brain! About four days after I began using the compounded cream, I had a very noticeable improvement in my short term memory! In a relatively short amount of time, I also noticed improvement in my long-term memory and in urinary continence. I only wish I had realized during my mother's life how much HRT might have improved her well-being, too. If you are going into peri menopause or are already in menopause, I urge you to look into HRT. If your OBGYN refuses to discuss it with you, find someone who will! And I highly recommend The Pharmary in Oceanside, because Dieter clearly understands hormones. -- although his attitude toward vaccines needs some work -- not all vaccines are equally safe and effective! We consumers need to defend the right of compounding pharmacies to exist (Big Pharma wants them gone) because human beings and other animals are not fungible and we therefore need medicines compounded for our specific needs.

This pharmacy tried to hike up the price of my prescription cream and charge me double (over $100). I guess the cream had been lasting me 2 months while it was supposed to last me 1 month but I forget to take it at times and I’m trying to be better about it. I told the pharmacist I have trouble remembering to use it but he should not punish me for it. He didn’t care so I sought out a different compounding pharmacy.He actually did me a favor. He was already charging me over $50 per refill and wanted to raise it over $100. The new pharmacy said the same amount and dosage only costs $29.99 and they just charge for the amount of meds purchased.Based on this experience I highly question the ethics of this pharmacy and wonder if they are just making up prices to get more money. I had been using this pharmacy for years for my compounding needs. I will no longer go there.
