My dad and stepmom used to use this beautician and my dad still prefers to get his feet taken care of by her. She just moved to this location next to the church at the other end of te Albertsons location on Mission at Douglas. She seemed very kind as she opened up for the day and I'm sure this will be a regular occurance.

Van does a fantastic job! I got a pedicure and a gel manicure. She started with the pedicure. Nice warm water and the chair that give a massage. It's the best I have never wanted to fall asleep while getting a pedicure this time I had trouble keeping awake that chair was incredibly comfortable. She has the best a large assortment of colors to choose from. It was hard to make my decision based on all of those pretty colors! Next she did my fingernails, she asks good questions to get to know you. She actually shows an interest in each customer! No feeling like a number here! I can't wait to go back! Thanks so much Van!

Van has moved to 3549 Mission Ave (next to Mike's Liquor). I have been going to her for many years, she and her staff always do a great job! Highly recommended!

NEVER GO HERE!! save your money and do your research. Your fingers and toes will thank you later. I usually love going here and going to Rosie. I have no idea what the lady's name was who did my nails but holy hell, I've gone to her twice and she's messed my nails up both times. For one all the tools she used were marked as "soiled tools" and the cuticle clippers that had been used got unfolded out of a dirty rag and yes I even asked if they were clean and she blatantly ignored me. I had a crack in my nail and I let her know but instead of gently removing the acrylic she tried to tear it off in one go, then proceeded to rip the other half of my natural nail off, so close to my nail bed that it almost bled. Also I didn't get to was my hands throughout the entire fill my nails were "cleaned" with acetone, she then put cuticle oil on my fingers and had me wash my hands. I honest to god don't think she was a licensed nail technician. I will not be going there again.

This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I went in with a full acrylic set on and wanted to get them soaked off and have gel put on over my natural nail bed. First, I waited in the chair for 10 minutes until the worker sat down. It was another 10 minutes before she started working on my nails and she was literally sitting in front of me texting. She then used unused nail tips to pop my acrylics off (you’re supposed to soak them) and DESTROYED my nail beds. She covered it up with gel that started chipping less than a week later. I usually don’t post negative reviews but this experience has bothered me since I went. It was so unprofessional and painful for her to pry my previous nails off and I believe it is actually illegal by the state cosmetology board. They charged me $35 which would be reasonable if they actually did what they were supposed to instead of being lazy and cutting corners.Services: Manicures

This was probably my worst experience ever in nail salons. I went in to get my acrylics removed & a manicure. My natural nails had grown from my acrylics & she cut them halfway. I didn't have my nails soak in anything prior to them being taken off but rather cut & taken off by force with a new acrylic nail. As she proceeded to conduct my manicure it probably took 10 mins max. I still have the glue on my nails from my acrylics. She only took off my cuticles but my nails were still dirty on the sides. She applied the nail polish so careless. I paid $25 for something I could've done better at home.

The nail techs were very nice there service was good but the massage chairs weren’t on and they put barely enough water for our pedicures so seems they trying to save and cut costs also no packages offered no real time taken everything seemed fast I do pedicures so I can relax for awhile this was kind of rushed not really enjoyed but nail techs were very friendly also wish they would’ve helped with ingrown but they seemed to overlook thatService: Pedicures

We went to Century nails in Oceanside-the owner is super nice,she accommodated me as I'd just had surgery & just needed my toenails clipped.we showed up without an appointment, she did a great job!!I'll be back!!!

Ok so I have to post this review because it's been 22 years since I've lived here in Oceanside and I can honestly admit I've been to at least a hundred nail shops/spas and I've really had some great experiences and unfortunately not so great experiences (such is life). But I got off yesterday (sorry yes this is a late post) and I took a different route home than usual and I knew I had wanted to get a mani/pedi and didn't really have a "regular" spot I usually go to c BUT LET ME TELL YOU...... I stumbled across this amazing hidden gem! My pedi was the best I've ever gotten! Hands down! My feet are super ticklish so it's tough when they wanna file the bottom of your feet, it's usually uncomfortable. Anyways, I was getting my mani and pedi at the same time and let me tell you - these women have hands from heaven! My feet felt amazing and they were so nice. She filed my feet for so long and it didn't even tickle. So odd. But I loved it. Van and Na, thank you! I finally found my go to nail shop! My nails look amazing!

The lady who did my nails was very kind! Although she did my acrylic nails in less than 30 minutes, she did not do them with care, nail polish over my cuticles and my skin stuck to my nails. They turned out horrible, never coming back.

This was the worst pedicure I've ever received and I've been getting pedicures for 35 years. First and foremost, she pushed so hard on the cuticle on one of my big toes it started bleeding. The color on my toes is so uneven. Also, literally she scrubbed the bottom of my feet for less than five seconds. She massaged my legs for maybe 30 to 40 seconds. Then when I got home and checked my toes more closely I noticed there's polish in the cuticles and the toenails are cut uneven it's shaped so bad. To make matters worse, the pedicure was $40 at least $10 more than I would pay at any other salon.
