Yet another review again with produce, I've brought it to employees attention, and it was not addressed clearly, today I go to Albertsons just to SEE veggies before I determine to buy them and I find 2 soon to be rotten cucumbers and 1 that has blood on it under the plastic wrapping on it.

I went to buy a birthday cake at Albertsons on Oceanside Blvd last week. The bakery clerk, heavy set with tattoos, was fixing the cakes on the shelves. I wanted to know what flavor a certain cake was.She stopped me in mid-sentence. "It will be a minute." OK. I stood there waiting. She said, "It will be ten minutes." Ten minutes to answer a question. I left and bought the cake at Costco.I think your clerk needs a lesson on customer service.

After a very long day, came to the store and was greeted by Wesley behind the counter. He made my day, I wanted a certain piece of salmon for my daughter who's been in the hospital (I didn't tell him that) but he cut me the freshest piece of salmon To my preferred size . Shout out to Wesley. Thank you for such great service

We went in for a small cake from the bakery. We waited about 15 minutes then politely waved our hand up for associate to see us. She put her hand up and said "i'll be with you when i'm done." and continued to do whatever she was doing. We were thrown off a bit w her response. We waited another 15 minutes just for her to come over, sigh, then ask what we needed. We picked a cake and asked for writing on it then yelled "Oh AND you want writing on it" then laughed annoyingly. There was a customer next to us looking at the freshly baked breading area and he looked at her concerned at how loud she was. We were slightly shocked and left speechless. She then comes back with our cake and I kid you not, it looked like a three year old wrote on it. It was unreadable and all she said was "sorry i'm not a baker" left the cake on the counter then walked away. We went in a couple of days later for some items and she rolled her eyes as we approached the deli for dinner items. After that, we will not go back. i've managed a retail store for years, i know what it's like working behind the scenes so i make it a mission to be a kind and gentle customer but honestly, i wish i didn't hold back. she was so extremely rude! loud obnoxious older lady w greenish eyes, look out for her!

Let's see if this new Albertsons/Kroger marriage is worth the wait. I noticed the last time I was in ALbertsons the crappy manager who in my opinion ruined the store was nowhere to be found. A few of the old terrible employees were gone and the place actually was fun to shop in. Still the deli is slow at rush hour but we will see if they improved on that in the future. But the Joe Pesci looking manager is gone. Thank God!

It's the hills have eyes meets a grocery store; outside of navigating the homeless out front, there's no more than 2 checkers working and your left in no man's land with the self serve checkouts, all built in the 80's it appears. It's a crap shoot on what they actually stock, very grim place

There's never any shopping cats. The deli department will ignore you and when they do acknowledge you standing there, they are slow to fill your order or are out of the selection you want.

It has been a bit better for a while. Maybe they had some change in management. The deli has been handled by one and a half people meaning one person usually is tied up on another task and can't come to the counter but they manage to get two people to the counter when they need to. I haven't found outdated items in years. They no longer have that look like everyone has given up so they don't have staff on their phones in the front of the store and behind checkout counters. I haven't seen severely rotten fruit there though. It's not the best quality but there's easy to find some fruit. That's good there. I don't think they will ever make it to five-star but it's a reliable place and in particular for the deli and picking up a few necessities. Just because it's a fun story, I have to say the weirdest thing that ever happened here. There was a young man with a backpack loading it up and he just walked out of the store and I said hey, that guy just filled his backpack full of stuff, and the cashier said oh that's OK. He works here. That was back when they didn't care at all, what was happening. I figure at times if Management was treating them like hell, they just didn't care at the time.

Absolutely my favorite Albertson's. This is on par with Winco, Walmart, Sprout's and CVS.They carry various flavors of Chuao, which is a bonus, since I've worked in their factory/warehouse in Carlsbad before. So, I'm glad to see it on their shelves because other places either don't carry it or only have one.The jalapeño cheese bagels are probably the best, since the ones at Paneras are slightly borderline overpriced, and Winco's is frozen, not freshly baked. Hopefully, Albertson's is made from scratch...?! Anyway, I love it when they have clearance and sales because the reduced prices aren't always reasonable, but, sometimes, it's worth it.

I have been a Fresh Pass home delivery customer at this Albertsons for exactly 1 year. It started out fine but in the last 6 months I have had to constantly complain to them about overcharges. Just yesterday it happened again. Among other grocery items, I ordered three (3) 5oz salmon portions and was charged $69.87--an overcharge of $46.58. If this had been a one-time occurrence, I would not be submitting this review. But this particular fresh sea food overcharge has occurred repeatedly. Each time I complained, the customer service representative promised to escalate the matter but on each order, without fail, I have been triple-charged for 5oz salmon portions. Truthfully, I may have been overcharged on other store items but I am at a disadvantage to actually know.My most recent issue with the home delivery service at this Albertsons is that I submitted an online grocery order totaling $323 and was charged $388 due, in part, to the $46.58 overcharge for the salmon portions. As if that were not bad enough, this time my VISA was charged but I NEVER RECEIVED ANY OF THE GROCERIES. When I called their central office (at the number on the receipt emailed to me) they referred me back to the Oceanside store. They did, however, put through a "cancellation request" but indicated that they could not offer any further assistance. When I called Oceanside, I was put on hold forever. I finally spoke to the manager, Julie, who while empathetic would not (or could not?) reverse the charges even though no groceries were ever delivered. She referred me to a "Tony" who was not in the store and who could not be reached. Meanwhile, it is now 5 o'clock in the morning and I am stressing (and not able to sleep) because I have no groceries and have not only been charged, but overcharged, for groceries that I never received. The Fresh Pass delivery service at this store has been a disaster for me personally. I will not only be canceling my subscription but will also be calling my bank to dispute the $388 pending charge that Albertsons placed on my VISA for groceries that were NEVER delivered.

In Alberstson app on Friday April 29, 2022 they had free silk milk, we got some. When we got home we notice the milk expired on April 20, 2022 so then we called them when we got home they just told us to bring the receipt. So we did it the next day, we got new ones the date on the milk was may 4th. The expires one were still in the fridge at the store. The girl that helped us was really friendly to us and nice about it.
