Took my car in for dyno tune. Meet with Gruff owner Shawn. Barely gave me any attention and seemed angry I asked for appointment. He gave me one in swveral weeks. Finally dropped off on a Monday and he looked at car without starting itand said that I needed a new carburetor as he didnt like the edelbrock I had . He quoted me a price and I said okay. I called several days in a row as he had said would be overnight but by Friday I hadnt a call back. Called saturday and he wanted car out of shop and asked for cash. Price quoted for carburetor was 200 dollars more. What could I due but pay and get out. Car ran worse than when I brought it in. Later he told me he never drove it or dyno tubed it. Be aware if you bring in your classic car. Get a written quote and promise of work he will do. I would never be fooled again by his slick ads on radio.
