“When you pull up and look at the building, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. It's very non-de script, with a couple apartments as part of it. The small restaurant is upstairs, and Larry, the owner, is as nice as can be. Larry is hard to miss -- he's the 7' tall guy in the room. :-) I went for prime rib night and both the food and drinks were great. It's a pleasant little space with a dedicated bar on one side.”
“We recently visited the Arista Winery and had a tremendous visit. Collectively we have been to Arista several times. Carrie was our host, she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to give us a memorable experience. Isabelle also provided insight to the wines adding valuable information to our tasting. The wines are fabulous, truly enjoyed all that was poured, we always purchase wine. Arista is a most stop if you are in the area. Look forward to visiting again next year.”
“Wow. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have visited Equality Vines. I visited with my mom for a wine tasting and we were pleasantly surprised at how great of a time we had.Upon entering the building, my mom and I were greeted by Ben. I was immediately blown away with the interior decor; every corner is filled with very unique and eye-catching art pieces (courtesy of the art gallery next door). Ben gave us time to admire all of the art before we proceeded with our tasting, and what a tasting it was! I love how each of the wines had a story, and Ben told them beautifully (my mom cried multiple times). We enjoyed each of the wines we tasted, but our favorite was the "Get Your Own Damn Coffee" Chardonnay. A great wine with an even better name.I love everything that Equality Vines represents, I've never known wine to be so inspirational/meaningful and I can't wait to return and buy more wine (two bottles was definitely not enough). Thank you Ben for the amazing story-telling and amazing personality. Thank you Matt for allowing me to reschedule my tasting. Such a great experience!!!”

“A very cozy and relaxing stay for me and my husband. We came on a weekend where the river was exceedingly high and the weather was bad but we loved being able to stay warm in the hotel. German food dinner was incredible, the hosts were kind, great beer. A nice continental breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend!”

“Crooked Goat is my favorite beer bar in the Barlow. They always have a tasty variety of beers on tap. Also 100% dog-friendly so fine to bring your pooch. Often, there can be a pretty energetic social scene here with young peole having fun, watching sports, playing games, or live music. What is my favorite beer? GRAIN & BLOOD -- BLOOD ORANGE DIPA -- 9.7% ABV DIPA brewed with fresh blood orange and dry hopped with Mosaic, Amarillo, Citra and Simcoe. It is a winner.”

“O really enjoy all my interactions at Occidental Art Center. The Tuesday morning Life Drawing class is great! The teacher and all the students are supportive and encouraging .I so love the people and process involved in entering their juried shows. All you do is get an appointment on line and take your painting into the gallery at that time. It is quite an enjoyable experience.Finally, I want to say how pleasant people at the center are. Everyone just enjoys making and sharing art!”
